  • Publication number: 20240297769
Abstract: Systems for co-site interference mitigation are provided herein. A system according to an embodiment receives first spectrum usage data indicating parameters to be used by a first group of one or more radio elements to send or receive transmissions. The system receives second spectrum usage data indicating parameters to be used by a second group of one or more radio elements to send or receive transmissions. The system dynamically determines, based on the first and second spectrum usage data received in real time, that interference will occur between the first group and the second group. The system forwards, to the at least one of the radio elements, a signal indicating parameters for mitigating the interference between transmissions to be sent or received by the radio elements of the first or second group. The system sends or receives a transmission in accordance with the sent signal.

  • Patent number: 8359901
Abstract: A chemical impairment detection system and method of use comprising a video surveillance system adapted to record a facial image of a tester, the video surveillance system having a camera with a lens having a field of view from which the camera views images and distinguishes whether those images have appropriate construction or contrast of light intensity. The invention further comprises a control and relay module having a proper view and position determiner adapted to determine whether the facial image of the tester is properly positioned within the field of view during a chemical impairment detection test, and a test prompter to alert the tester when to begin the chemical impairment detection test. The present invention further comprises a chemical impairment detection sampling device in operable communication with and responsive to the video surveillance system, the sampling device adapted to receive a chemical impairment detection test sample from the tester.

  • Patent number: 6748792
Abstract: A system, device, and method for determining whether an individual has consumed, is intoxicated, or is otherwise impaired by alcohol is disclosed. Further, a device capable of positively identifying the person who provides the impairment test is disclosed. The impairment detection and interlock system disclosed accomplishes this with the use of a video camera that selectively saves images, and an attitude evaluator and, in some embodiments, an exposure evaluator, which ensures that the video camera captures the identity of the tester. A device holster may also be used to facilitate video surveillance.
