    Abstract: The present disclosure is concerned with a deodorizing and fragrance releasing insert for an ash tray, and with an ash tray provided with the insert. In a further embodiment, the disclosure is concerned with a self-deodorizing and fragrance releasing ash tray which is constructed from a composite material including a synthetic resin and a compatible fragrant volatile odor releasing substance.
