Abstract: A stool includes a body having a seat and a wheel assembly. The seat is selectively rotatable about an axis of the stool. The wheel assembly is engaged to the seat. The wheel assembly includes a plurality of wheels. Each of the wheels includes an exterior surface having a first portion and a second portion. The second portion includes a contoured surface. The body is adapted to tilt onto the second portions of the wheels.

Abstract: Positioning apparatuses mountable to a wheelchair or other such device are disclosed. An illustrative positioning apparatus can include a base unit, a number of armatures each defining an extension of the apparatus, a number of rotatable joints adapted to permit movement of the armatures, and a platform adapted to support one or more objects. A number of actuation levers connected to the rotatable joints can be used to simultaneously unlock each of the joints in a single step, allowing the apparatus to be easily repositioned. A locking mechanism within each joint may permit one or more user-defined locking positions to be set on the joint. A temporary lock-out mechanism within each joint results in the unlocking of each joint until the armatures are rotated away from the locked position, allowing operation of the device with one hand.

Abstract: Door mechanisms for simplified and unobstructed passage through an entranceway of a collapsible structure are disclosed. The door mechanism may include a fanning, swinging or sliding door configured to move between an open position and a closed position within the entranceway. The door mechanism may include a fastener to secure the door to the structure or to an adjacent door. The door mechanism may be provided as part of a stand-alone structure, or as a part of a structure adapted for use with other adjacent structures.
