    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a device for securing a piece of chalk to a skate. The device includes a chalk holder defining a chalk opening sized for receiving a piece of chalk. The device also includes an arrangement for connecting the chalk holder to the skate such that the chalk is adapted to contact a ground surface when the skate is used by a skater.
