The method includes receiving an authentication data file from an authenticating computer device executing the digital authentication program, wherein the authenticating computer device is associated with an authenticating entity, processing the authentication data file to extract at least one authentication value, testing the authentication value against at least one authentication rule associated with the digital authentication program, determining that a stored metric for the authenticating computer device fails to meet a predefined benchmark, wherein the stored metric is associated with the digital authentication program, and initiating an authentication remediation process, wherein the authentication remediation process causes an update to the digital authentication program used by the authenticating computer device.

Abstract: A system and method for linking in real-time otherwise independent authentication and authorization processes in payment card-based financial transactions. An interchange network receives an authentication approval message via an authentication network from an authentication service provider, with the authentication approval message including first information, such as an electronic token. The interchange network generates and sends an advice message, which includes the first information, to a card-issuer of the payment card communicating that the authentication approval message was received. Subsequently, the card-issuer receives an authorization request message via an authorization network from a transaction source, with the authorization request message including second information which should be identical to the first information.

Abstract: Methods and systems for authorizing an online purchase transaction. In some embodiments, during an online transaction a merchant plug-in (MPI) application of a merchant server receives a cardholder authentication message including an enhanced accountholder authentication variable (AAV) from an issuer access control server (ACS). The MPI application then transmits a purchase transaction authorization request message to a payment gateway that includes the enhanced AAV, and receives a purchase transaction authorization response. The merchant server computer displays the purchase transaction authorization response on a merchant webpage and stores it along with the enhanced AAV in association with the cardholder data in an MPI database.
