Abstract: The invention discloses a sectional arrangement of heat dissipating plates for notebook computer. The arrangement consists of a plurality of heat dissipating plates each having at least two holding means. Each holding means has a Y-shaped member having a stem and a pair of arms, and an engaging opening. In assembly, the pairs of arms of all holding means are able to be pressed inwardly through each corresponding engaging opening until each heat dissipating plate is engaged by its neighboring heat dissipating plate.

Abstract: A mechanical seal for providing fluid sealing between a housing and a rotatable shaft includes a first seal ring having a first seal face and a second seal ring having a second seal face. The first seal face further has a first portion and a second portion and the seal faces of the first and second seal rings are opposed to each other when assembled. The first seal ring or the second seal ring is adapted to rotate with the rotatable shaft, and the other seal ring is restrained from rotating. The seal is a non-contacting seal that provides for the introduction of a barrier fluid between the seal faces. A first surface of the first seal ring and a first surface of the second seal ring are exposed to the process fluid. An opening force is developed between the first and second seal faces that inhibits contact between the seal faces.

Abstract: A rapid method to prepare low crystallinity cellulose (crystallinity 15-45% of polymerization 35-150), suitable for use as a direct compression excipient (e.g., binder, disintegrant, and diluent) in pharmaceutical solid dosage forms design and as a bodying and/or film forming agent in the development of sustained- and/or film forming agent in the development of sustained- and/or controlled-release pharmaceutical (topical and transdermal products), cosmetics, agricultural, personal care and like products, is provided by reacting cellulose materials with 85% or higher weight percentage phosphoric acid under controlled sequenced temperature conditions that involve treatment first at room temperature for an hour and then at 50.degree.-55.degree. C. for 3-6 hours, followed by separating by a precipitation method,. and subsequently isolating as a powder or converting into a head or hydrated form.
