  • Patent number: 7918704
Abstract: An organic electroluminescent display panel comprises a substrate, an anti-reflective layer, a light-shielding layer, a transistor and an organic light emitting diode. A method for fabricating said organic electroluminescent display panel comprises forming the anti-reflective layer on the substrate; forming the light-shielding layer with a first region and a second region on the anti-reflective layer; and then, removing at least part of the light-shielding layer to expose at least part of anti-reflective layer in the first region. After that, the transistor is formed above the light-shielding layer in the second region, and the organic light emitting diode is formed above the anti-reflective layer in the first region.

  • Publication number: 20100245283
Abstract: A capacitive touch panel with customizable function icons and the method thereof are disclosed. The touch panel has a plurality of inductive electrode patterns arranged on a substrate regularly firstly. A plurality of functional icons are then defined on the touch panel. Each of the inductive electrode patterns is respectively connected to a control chip on a control circuit board via a wire. The control chip designates the plurality of inductive electrode patterns as a functional group to correspond to one of a plurality of functional icons, so as to execute the corresponding function. Whenever the position or the size of the functional icons needs to be altered, only the inductive electrode patterns that correspond to the functional icon need to be altered within the control chip to become effective immediately.

  • Patent number: 7615922
Abstract: A top emission type electro-luminescent display device comprising a thin film transistor, an opaque electrode, an opaque layer, and an electro-luminescent medium layer. The thin film transistor overlies a substrate and is covered by an interlayer insulator. The opaque electrode and the opaque layer are successively disposed on the interlayer insulator, in which the opaque electrode is electrically connected to the thin film transistor and the opaque layer comprises an opening exposing a portion of the underlying opaque electrode. The electro-luminescent medium layer is disposed over the exposed portion of the opaque electrode. The transparent electrode is disposed on the opaque layer and conformally covers the surfaces of the opening and the electro-luminescent medium layer.

  • Patent number: 7365486
Abstract: A high contrast organic light-emitting device (OLED) includes a composite electron transport layer including a generally transparent electron transport layer and a light-absorbent electron transport layer formed of buckminsterfullerene. The light-absorbent electron transport layer absorbs environmental light and the OLED provides an undistorted display with high contrast. The light-absorbent electron transport layer may be disposed directly between the generally transparent electron transport layer which may be formed of Alq, and an LiF electron injection layer of a metallic cathode.
