Patent number: 10547784Abstract: A camera having a gyro and accelerometer stabilizes a video recording by the following steps. First, gyro data and acceleration data are synchronized with a frame of video data. The gyro data and the acceleration data are fused together to get a space domain rotation matrix that corresponds to the frame. The frame is adjusted based on the space domain rotation matrix. Next, at least one feature of the adjusted frame is detected. A modified rotation matrix is determined by comparing the at least one detected feature of the adjusted frame with a corresponding feature in a neighboring frame of the video data. Finally, the adjusted frame is further adjusted based on the modified rotation matrix.Type: GrantFiled: June 19, 2018Date of Patent: January 28, 2020Assignee: SighTour Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Shi-Mu Sun, Huah Tu

Publication number: 20160078029Abstract: A photography data sharing method adapted to be used with a network sharing system. The network sharing system is configured to store and analyze at least a photography data. Each photography data includes an event information about the respective photography shooter generating the photography data. The network sharing system includes a database, a processing unit and a browser interface. The photography data sharing method includes steps of: storing the photography data; analyzing the event information of the photography data; determining whether the photography viewer and the event information of the photography data belong to a same event or not when the photography viewer is trying to browse the photography data through the browser interface; and providing the photography data to the photography viewer through the browser interface when it is determined that the photography viewer and the event information of the photography data belong to the same event.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 9, 2015Publication date: March 17, 2016Inventors: SHI-MU SUN, HUAH TU

Publication number: 20100118031Abstract: The present invention discloses a method to define a drafting range based on a curve with a plurality of points drawn by a user. A writing character is shown in a display based on the drafting range. The method includes the following steps. The first step is to gather coordinate positions of points. Then, these coordinate positions are compared to each other to get a maximum coordinate position and a minimum coordinate position. A drafting range is generated based on the maximum coordinate position and the minimum coordinate position. Next, the drafting range is corresponded to a display range of a display to define a ratio of the drafting range to the display range. Finally, the writing character is adjusted and displays in the display based on the ratio.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 2, 2009Publication date: May 13, 2010Applicant: AVERMEDIA INFORMATION, INC.Inventors: Shi-Mu Sun, Christopher Yen, Shu-Ya Yang, Tzung-Lin Lee, Mei-Jen Kuo

Publication number: 20100115404Abstract: The present invention discloses a method to automatically arrange word string in a display. The word string includes two words. The method includes the following steps. The first step is to define the positions of the start position and the stop position of strokes of the two words. The second step is to group the start position and the stop position based on a threshold value. The third step is to circle the words based on the grouping result. The final step is to rearrange the two words based on a datum point.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 2, 2009Publication date: May 6, 2010Applicant: AVerMedia Information, Inc.Inventors: Shi-Mu Sun, Christopher Yen, Yun-Hui Liang, Mei-Jen Kuo

Publication number: 20090309831Abstract: A wireless control device and a multi-cursor control method for use with a computer system are provided. The application program of the computer system is executed to generate at least a first pointer and a second pointer. The wireless control device includes a first pointer controller, a second pointer controller and a wireless transceiver. The multi-cursor control method includes steps of issuing a first wireless control signal containing a first identification code in response to manipulation of a first user, issuing a second wireless control signal containing a second identification code in response to manipulation of a second user, receiving and transmitting the first wireless control signal and the second wireless control signal to the computer system, and controlling corresponding shifts of the first pointer and the second pointer defined in the application program according to the first identification code and the second identification code, respectively.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 10, 2008Publication date: December 17, 2009Applicant: AVERMEDIA INFORMATION, INC.Inventors: Shi-Mu Sun, Christopher Yen, Jiun-Shin Wu, Tzung-Lin Lee
