  • Publication number: 20170177059
Abstract: Disclosed is a power managing method applied to an electronic system comprising a power providing device. The power managing method comprises: (a) receiving a power reference parameter provided by a user; and (b) displaying a candidate disabling list, which lists at least one application program, according to the power reference parameter and an available power budget of the power providing device. At least one of the application programs listed in the candidate disabling list can be selected and disabled.

  • Patent number: 9578582
Abstract: A wireless communication system for improving the handoff of wireless mobile devices according to geographic information, including: a first station and a wireless mobile device transmitting first geographic information to the first station and receiving from the first station a first scanning-station period, a first threshold velocity, and a first threshold steering angle corresponding to the first geographic information. When the motion speed of the wireless mobile device is greater than the first threshold velocity or the angle at which the wireless mobile device changes its direction of motion is greater than the first threshold steering angle, the wireless mobile device transmits the second geographic information to the first station and receives from the first station a second scanning-station period, a second threshold velocity, and a second threshold steering angle corresponding to the second geographic information.

  • Patent number: 9189608
Abstract: A permission management method for an electronic device capable of installing at least one application is illustrated. The electronic device comprises a plurality of accessible operational functions. The method prepares a management table for recording corresponding operational functions that the application needs to access while performing the application, and a permission management program for controlling the management table. The permission management program may be performed to change the permission state of each operational function corresponding to the installed application. When the application installed in the device is performed and one of the operational functions is requested, the records in the management table are referred to determine whether the application is allowed to access the requested operational function.

  • Patent number: 8892935
Abstract: A dynamic bus clock rate adjusting method is to be executed by a bus controller and a CPU. The bus controller is coupled with a bus that is coupled with a plurality of slave devices. The method comprises the steps of: configuring the bus controller to generate, upon receipt of a request signal from one of the slave devices, an access instruction including an address from which the request signal is sent; and configuring the CPU to determine which of the slave devices the address of the access instruction corresponds so as to obtain a working clock rate thereof, and to set the bus controller to adjust an operating clock rate of the bus according to the working clock rate, and to perform the access instruction on the slave device via the bus.

  • Publication number: 20140320424
Abstract: A data transmission method is provided for an electronic device connecting with a multi-touch device through a plurality of low-speed serial buses. In the method, the multi-touch device senses a multi-touch action so as to generate an interrupt signal. The multi-touch device senses the multi-touch action through several touch points on the multi-touch device which the multi-touch action touches and generates a touch data respectively corresponding to each of the touch points. The interrupt signal from the multi-touch device is received. According to the interrupt signal, the touch data are respectively and sequentially received periodically through the low-speed serial buses.

  • Publication number: 20140294249
Abstract: A frame controlling method and an electric device using the same are provided. The frame controlling method includes the following steps. An image including a first person is captured by a front camera disposed on a screen. If a second person is shown in the image, then an identification of the second person is recognized. A frame setting data is read according to the identification of the second person. A frame of the screen is changed according to the frame setting data.
