Abstract: A method for forming a staircase structure of 3D memory, including: forming an alternating layer stack on a substrate, forming a plurality of staircase regions where each staircase region has a staircase structure having a first number (M) of steps in a first direction; forming a first mask stack to expose a plurality of the staircase regions; removing (M) of the layer stacks in the exposed staircase regions; forming a second mask stack over the alternating layer stack to expose at least an edge of each of the staircase regions in a second direction; and repetitively, sequentially, removing a portion of (2M) of layer stacks and trimming the second mask stack.

Abstract: A cabinet framework includes a front door frame, a rear door frame, and depth components. The front door frame consists of four first section bars connected end to end. The first section bars are connected by two-way components which includes two sockets with insertion directions perpendicular to each other. The first section bar is a rectangular hollow beam formed by folding a rectangular sheet and is connected to the two-way component by insertion at the socket. The rectangular sheet includes a first edge and a second edge connected together. The first edge wraps around the second edge to form a flange which has multiple rectangular through holes. The rectangular through holes are step holes. The diameter of the holes on the first edge is greater than that on the second edge.

Abstract: Techniques for enhanced content seek are described. In one embodiment, for example, an apparatus may comprise a processor circuit and a content management module, and the content management module may be operative on the processor circuit to receive an instruction to initiate a seek presentation mode for a content item, determine content description information for the content item, and generate seek presentation information comprising the content description information. In this manner, an improved seek presentation may be realized that provides descriptive information regarding portions of content as a seek is being performed through those portions of content, such that a user may be better able to identify a point at which a desired location within the content has been reached. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: Improved seek techniques for content playback are described. In one embodiment, for example, an apparatus may comprise a processor circuit and a content management module, and the content management module may be operable by the processor circuit to determine a seek destination comprising an event within a content item, identify a time index value corresponding to the event, and initiate playback of the content item at the time index value. In this manner, improved seek results may be realized that allow users to seek to specific events or points of interest within consumed content. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: Tea-based beverages prepared from functional water are described. The functional water comprises less than 200 ppm total dissolved solids and, when used to make a tea-based beverage, results in a beverage having superior flavor and appearance characteristics, even when up to 6% by weight of tea solids are present within the beverage.

Abstract: This invention comprises wood preservative compositions based on alkaline copper quaternary formulations having reduced corrosivity to metals by addition of a soluble nitrite salt and a dicarboxylic acid and methods for their use in reducing corrosivity of metals.

Abstract: After two-dimensional electrophoresis of proteins or the like, resulting in a polyacrylamide gel slab having a pattern of protein gel spots thereon, an individual protein gel spot is cored out from the slab, to form a gel spot core which is placed in an extraction tube, with a dialysis membrane across the lower end of the tube. Replicate gel spots can be cored out from replicate gel slabs and placed in the extraction tube. Molten agarose gel is poured into the extraction tube where the agarose gel hardens to form an immobilizing gel, covering the gel spot cores. The upper end portion of the extraction tube is filled with a volume of buffer solution, and the upper end is closed by another dialysis membrane.
