Abstract: A device identification method, a communicative connection method between multiple devices, and an interface controlling method are disclosed herein. The devices include a first device and at least one second device. The first device includes a touch-sensing interface and a first wireless communication module. Each second device comprising a second wireless communication module and physical contacts arranged with a distinct pattern. The communicative connection method includes steps of: sensing a multi-touch input by the touch-sensing interface when one of the second devices is currently placed upon the touch-sensing interface of the first device; identifying the second device currently placed upon the first device by matching the multi-touch input with the distinct pattern; and, forming a wireless communicative connection between the first wireless communication module of the first device and the second wireless communication module of the matched second device.

The method also includes saving the setting corresponding to the selected interactive function in a database of the electronic device.

Abstract: A method of executing software functions on an electronic device having biometric detection includes receiving touch input from one or more fingers of a user on a fingerprint sensor of the electronic device and recognizing one or more fingerprints and recognizing a gesture in the received touch input. The method further includes performing a fingerprint comparison to compare the one or more recognized fingerprints to contents of a database, performing a gesture comparison to compare the recognized gesture to contents of the database, determining a matching software function according to results of the fingerprint comparison and the gesture comparison, and executing the matching software function.

Abstract: A connector module is disclosed in the present invention. The connector module includes a housing defining an interior chamber, and a substrate installed inside the interior chamber of the housing. A first set of metal contacts and a second set of metal contacts are disposed on the substrate. The connector module further includes a sliding component slidably relative to a side of the substrate, and at least one conductive resilient component installed on the sliding component. The conductive resilient component is hidden inside the housing when the sliding component slides into the interior chamber of the housing, and the conductive resilient component is exposed outside the housing to electrically contact the second set of metal contacts when the sliding component slides out of the interior chamber of the housing.

Abstract: An operation method of an anti-virus storage device having a storage disk and a read-only memory includes connecting the storage device to a host and displaying a single disk name on an interface of an operating system of the host, executing an anti-virus application program corresponding to the operating system, wherein the anti-virus application program is stored in the read-only memory, generating a hidden partition in the storage disk, wherein the hidden partition comprises an anti-virus engine and a virus pattern, and starting up the anti-virus engine, enabling a main storage partition and only displaying a disk name of the main storage partition on the interface of the operating system. If the anti-virus application program has no an execution file corresponding to the operating system, a user using the anti-virus storage device decides whether enables and displays the main storage partition without executing the anti-virus application program.
