Abstract: A food inventory and purchasing tool includes a food inventory capturing module, a menu interface module and a required purchase determining module. The food inventory capturing module captures inventory stored in food storage areas of a user The menu interface module obtains a proposed menu of a planned user meal. The proposed menu includes ingredients and quantities required to prepare the planned user meal. The required purchase determining module determines ingredients required to be purchased based, at least in part upon, the identified inventory of food stored in the user food storage areas and the obtained proposed menu of the planned user meal.

Abstract: A portable electronic device for assisting travelers includes a display, a traveling module, a lodging module, a navigating module, a food module, a cloud module, and a recording module. The traveling module can recommend a travelling schedule for one or more tourist attractions. The recommended schedule includes location information and a stay period for each tourist attraction. The location information includes information of each tourist attraction and a corresponding route to each of the one or more tourist attractions. The lodging module can prompt lodging information on the display. The navigating module can detect if the portable electronic device is proximate one of the plurality of tourist attractions. The food module can prompt food information on the display. The recoding module can record a moving trace of the portable electronic device. The cloud module can upload the moving trace.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a cover, a base, and two resilient members located in the base. The cover is rotatably connected to the base and includes first magnetic members. The base includes second magnetic members. A magnetic force results between the first magnetic members and the second magnetic members. A critical angle is defined between the cover and the base. When an angle between the cover and the base is greater than the critical angle, the cover is rotated to be in an open position by the resilient members. When an angle between the cover and the base is less than the critical angle, the cover is rotated to be in a closed position by the magnetic force.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus for an audio module includes an enclosure base and an enclosure cover. The audio module is pivotally mounted in the enclosure base. A first rotating rod is positioned on the sides of the audio module. An elastic member is mounted on and a plurality of first teeth protrude from one side of the first rotating rod. A gear is pivotally mounted in the enclosure base. A plurality of second teeth protrude from the gear corresponding to the plurality of first teeth. The elastic member is elastically deformed in its original state, and the audio module is received in the enclosure base. When the enclosure cover is rotated away from the enclosure base, the elastic member rotates the first rotating rod, the first rotating rod rotates the gear, and the audio module extends to outside of the enclosure base.

Abstract: A notebook computer comprises a base and a screen pivotally attached to the base. A groove is defined in the base for mounting an audio module. The audio module is pivotally mounted in the groove by a resilient member and configured to receive or send audio signals for users. The screen is rotatable between a closed position, where the screen covers the base module; and an open position, where the screen departs from the base module. When the screen is in the closed position, the audio module is in a first position, where the audio module is fully received in the groove, and the resilient member is compressed by the screen. When the screen is in the open position, the audio module is rotated to a second position, where the audio module protrudes out from the groove and the resilient member is released.
