Abstract: A teeth cleaning apparatus includes a mouthpiece, a transducer, a cleaning liquid supply unit and a power control unit. The mouthpiece includes a containment wall, a hollow ingress tube connector and a vibrator holder. The vibrator holder has a vibrator holder hole and a vibrator holder body, and the transducer has a stationary part and a vibrator part, wherein an end of the stationary part of the transducer is kept in the vibrator holder, and a vibrator part of the transducer is disposed near the containment wall. The cleaning liquid supply unit includes a cleaning liquid container, at least one connecting tube, and a cleaning liquid delivery unit that delivers a cleaning liquid from the cleaning liquid container through the hole of the hollow ingress tube connector of the mouthpiece piece. The power control unit is used for supplying electricity to operate the transducer to generate cavitation bubbles at a vibration frequency to dean teeth.

Abstract: The teeth cleaner and system described in this present invention utilizes a mouthpiece that holds an ultrasonic transducer inside the oral cavity. The holding force of the transducer do not impede the ultrasonic vibrations. The mouthpiece ensures adequate cleaning fluid surrounds all teeth in the mouth and positions the cavitation bubble generating ultrasonic transducer adjacent to all teeth. The user changes to a face-down posture, all teeth can easily be submerged in the cleaning liquid and can be cleaned by cavitation bubbles with similar cleaning efficacy on both inside and outside teeth surfaces at the same time. Consumers and hygienists can use this present invention as an alternative tool in routine preventive dental care activities.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for providing call server failure protection involve assigning a set of media gateways to each of three or more call servers. Each call server has primary control of the corresponding assigned set of media gateways. A second call server is designated as having secondary control of a first media gateway assigned to a first of the call servers. A third call server is designated as having secondary control of a second media gateway assigned to the first call server. Secondary control is activated in response to a failure of the first call server.

Any family member can answer the call through a conference bridge set up by the VHPSCF and other family members can participate in the call before the call ends by connecting to the conference bridge.

Abstract: Geographical redundancy and an efficient switchover process to redundant equipment (210) is achieved by separating active main equipment (220) and standby redundant equipment in different geographical locations so that failures can be avoided in the event of a natural disaster or other event that affects an entire building or region. In addition, partial switchover can be performed for components or functions that become inoperative to corresponding redundant components in the standby equipment. To provide further redundancy and prevent unneeded switchovers, status or heartbeat messages are transmitted between the active main equipment and standby redundant equipment over two different networks.
