  • Patent number: 8046603
Abstract: A network real-time electricity monitoring system has at least one power line communicating and AC power monitoring device, a power line network device and a monitoring computer. The power line communicating and AC power monitoring device is connected to a power line of a corresponding target device to retrieve and transform statuses of an AC power in the power line into network packets and sends the network packets out through the power line. The power line network device is connected to the power line to retrieve the network packets and sends the network packets to a local monitoring computer or a remote monitoring computer based on Internet protocol address of the monitoring computer installed in the power line network device.

  • Publication number: 20090315409
Abstract: A digital automatic monitoring and power breaking safety socket has a shell in which an electrical connection base is mounted for connecting to a power line and an external line plug inside. A power switch is connected in series between the electrical connection base and the power line. A digital power monitoring circuit is coupled to the power line detect the power status to control the power switch based on the power status. Further, a power line data communication circuit is mounted in the shell and connects to the digital power monitoring circuit to obtain and process the power status. The processed power status is loaded into the power line that connects to the electrical connection base. Therefore, in addition to automatic power breaking and supplying, a remote power management host is able to obtain the power status and remotely control the socket.

  • Publication number: 20090154594
Abstract: A power line communication device having DC power output and network signal transmission abilities has a casing, a power cable connector, a network signal converting circuit and a first connecting interface. The network signal converting circuit is connected to the power cable connector, sends and receives network signals over a power cable connected to the power cable connector and transforms an AC power source to a DC power source. The first connecting interface is connected to the network signal converting circuit for connecting to and exchanging the network signals with an external network device and has a network port and a DC power output port. The DC power output port outputs the DC power source from the network signal converting circuit to the external network device. Therefore, the first connecting interface is capable of outputting the DC power source and transmitting the network signals.
