Publication number: 20240122917Abstract: Disclosed is the use of a composition containing cilostazol or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and edaravone in the preparation of a drug for treating cerebrovascular diseases, especially ischemic cerebrovascular diseases. The experiment result shows that the tail vein administration of 1-15 mg/kg of cilostazol or 1.67-8.33 mg/kg of edaravone on rats with a focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury can significantly ameliorate neurological defects in rats with an MCAO and reduce a cerebral infarction area; and performing compound combination within the dosage range (the mass ratio of cilostazol:edaravone is 1:5 to 5:1) can be synergistic. The tail vein administration of 3.33-16.67 mg/kg of cilostazol or 3.33-16.67 mg/kg of edaravone on mice with a focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury can significantly ameliorate neurological defects in mice with an MCAO and reduce a cerebral infarction area.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 26, 2022Publication date: April 18, 2024Applicant: NEURODAWN PHARMACEUTICAL CO., LTD.Inventors: Yao HUA, Lei WANG, Zhengping ZHANG, Rong CHEN, Shibao YANG

Patent number: 10304595Abstract: Systems and methods for providing electrical bushings for maintaining a seal during severe incidents are provided. The bushings provide for relatively large gap formations and seal spacings by using one or more self-modulating seals. In certain configurations, the bushings provide for relatively large gap formations and seal spacings by using a wider or narrow top portion adjacent to a relatively narrower middle portion. The systems and methods can be also applied to other apparatus when deemed proper.Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 2018Date of Patent: May 28, 2019Assignee: HUBBELL INCORPORATEDInventors: Eric Ralph Weatherbee, Andrew Victor McNulty, Shibao Zhang, Chungduck Ko

Patent number: 8759683Abstract: A high-voltage bushing includes a housing and a tube disposed within the housing. A conductor is disposed within the tube. An electrically conductive contact member is connected to the tube and has a first opening to receive and contact the conductor. Accordingly, spark-over between the inner surface of the tube and the outer surface of the draw-lead cable caused by a high-frequency transient is substantially prevented.Type: GrantFiled: July 15, 2011Date of Patent: June 24, 2014Assignee: Hubbell IncorporatedInventors: Chungduck Ko, Shibao Zhang, Eric R. Weatherbee, Andrew V. McNulty, Kata Cirkovic

Patent number: 8525526Abstract: A high voltage test terminal for an electrical power distribution/transmission system includes a shock-absorbing insulator disposed between first and second conductors. A blade is movably connected to the second conductor. The blade is electrically and mechanically connected to the first conductor in a first position and electrically isolated and mechanically disconnected from the first conductor in a second position. The blade is in the first position for normal operation of the electrical apparatus. The blade of the test terminal is moved to the second open position to conduct both electrical and mechanical tests of the electrical apparatus.Type: GrantFiled: November 13, 2009Date of Patent: September 3, 2013Assignee: Hubbell IncorporatedInventors: Chungduck Ko, Pete G. Schultz, Andrew V. McNulty, Eric R. Weatherbee, Shibao Zhang
