    Abstract: A coupling for a marine outboard drive for coupling the engine output shaft to the input shaft of the outboard drive. The coupling is formed of a composite member having a molded hub portion that defines a curved recess and a sheet metal member that is affixed to the hub member and which is adapted to be affixed to the engine output shaft. An elastomeric member is received in the recess of the hub member and supports an internally splined member that has a splined connection to the input shaft of the outboard drive.
