  • Patent number: 6582649
Abstract: A forced exhaust pipe is connected to an exhaust pipe connected with a cross head so that a negative pressure may be formed within an air passage so as to effect rapid control of air pressure (amount) within a parison, thereby stabilizing the air pressure within the parison. A parison stabilizing method and a system therefor for use in a hollow formation molding machine, according to the present invention, are so formed that a forced air-discharge is carried out through an exhaust pipe connected with the air passage formed within the cross head, so that a negative pressure is formed within the air passage. In this way, the above-mentioned system can effect quick control of an air pressure (amount) within the prison during a pre-blowing treatment, shorten a time period necessary for determining molding conditions, without having to increase the inner diameter of the air passage.

  • Patent number: 5702664
Abstract: An extrusion molding apparatus includes a die head with first, second, third and fourth annular nozzles. An adhesive extruder is connected to the first and third nozzles, a barrier extruder is connected to the second nozzle and a reclaimed material extruder is connected to the fourth nozzle. Inner and outer main material flow passages are connected to a main material extruder, as well. The annular nozzles and the main material flow passages are connected to an extrusion nozzle for forming a parison. The barrier material extruder has a cylinder which is connected to the second nozzle. A screw lies within the cylinder. The second nozzle has a ridge opposite an end of the screw, for dividing the extruded barrier flow material, mitigating stagnation of the barrier material as it passes through the second nozzle. A method of forming a parison is described, as well.

  • Patent number: 5278399
Abstract: A data entry unit includes a bar code reader. The composition of the data entry unit consists of an entry face on which a main entry portion such as a keyboard is disposed and a bar code reader disposed on the bottom face of the entry unit. The bar code data are read by having the bottom face of the data entry unit adhere closely to the bar code.

  • Patent number: 5010213
Abstract: A signal input sheet having a flexible upper laminate and a lower laminate. The upper laminate includes either a conductive layer or a resistive layer on its lower surface as a first layer and at least one hand-written input area and at least one binary data input area on its upper surface. The lower laminate includes either a conductive layer or a resistance layer on its upper surface as a second layer, however, at least one of the first and second layer is formed as a resistive layer. Elastic insulative spacers are interposed between the first layer of the upper laminate and the second layer of the lower laminate. The spacers are arranged at desired intervals to allow the first layer to come in contact with the second layer when pressure is applied to the upper laminate from the outside. The spacing between adjacent insulative spacers is larger in the binary input area than the hand-written input area.

  • Patent number: 4942352
Abstract: Disclosed is a non-contacting power supplying apparatus (10), which couples electrical power to a portable power receiving apparatus (50) that is positionable on the top of the power supplying apparatus (10). In the disclosed embodiments, a power supplying coil (18) of the power supplying apparatus (10) is in spaced-apart juxtaposition with a power receiving coil (54) of the portable power receiving apparatus when the power receiving apparatus (50) is in a predetermined position relative to the power supplying apparatus (10). An electrical signal frequency is induced in the power supplying coil (18) by a frequency converter (16) and is coupled to the power receiving coil (54). A rectifier/filter circuit (56) connected to the power receiving coil (54) supplies a signal for charging a rechargeable battery (58).
