  • Publication number: 20210264120
Abstract: According to one or more embodiments, the tag reader includes a communication controller, a temperature measuring sensor, and a processor. The communication controller controls an output signal to be output from an antenna of the tag reader. The temperature measuring sensor measures an internal temperature of the tag reader. The processor sets the output value of an output signal based on the measured temperature and causes the communication control circuit to output the output signal from the antenna at the set output value.

  • Publication number: 20210264398
Abstract: A tag reading device includes an external interface, an RFID interface, a buffer memory, and a processor. The external interface communicates with a higher-level device. The RFID interface reads tag information from an RFID tag. The buffer memory sequentially records the tag information read from the RFID tag using the RFID interface. The processor extracts a commodity code for specifying a commodity from the tag information recorded in order in the buffer memory and transmits the commodity code to the higher-level device through the external interface, and updates a transmission start pointer indicating untransmitted tag information in the buffer memory.

  • Patent number: 10803263
Abstract: A wireless tag reading apparatus includes an input control means, an extraction means, a storage control means, and a determination means. The input control means receives an input of a signal obtained by converting the radio wave received by an antenna that receives a radio wave from a wireless tag. The extraction means extracts the phase of the radio wave received by the antenna from the signal received by the input control means. The storage control means causes the storage medium to store the phase of the radio waves extracted by the extraction means for each reception position at which the antenna received the radio waves. The determination means determines whether the wireless tag that transmitted the radio wave is inside a predetermined region based on the amount of change of phase stored in the storage medium.
