  • Patent number: 7505165
Abstract: An image recording apparatus includes a CPU. An image file created by the CPU is stored in a directory which is created on a hard disk and a circularly successive directory number is assigned to. When the number of image files accumulated in a latest directory reaches “450”, the CPU determines a total number of the directories, and if the total number reaches “50”, the CPU erases an oldest directory. Furthermore, when the number of the image files accumulated in the latest directory reaches “900”, the CPU creates a new directory to which the directory number succeeding to that of the latest directory is assigned. In addition, when an arbitrary directory is erased by an operation of an erasing key, the CPU assigns the successive directory number to a remaining directory in order of a creation time.

  • Patent number: 7382404
Abstract: A monitoring camera device adds image capturing time data to image data which is successive with respect to time, and stores the image data on a recording medium. A plurality of directories are prepared on the recording medium for containing a predetermined number of items of image data, and are each named according to a directory naming rule, such that a portion of the name is made different when the directory is prepared during the period of standard time and when the directory is prepared during the period of daylight saving time. The directory also has attached thereto directory preparing time data indicating the time when the directory is prepared.

  • Patent number: 7269335
Abstract: An image signal processing apparatus includes a hard disk. The hard disk is as necessary created with a directory to which time information according to a time counter is assigned. An image file is stored in a latest directory having the latest creation time among a plurality of directories thus created. When a time indicated by the time counter is modified retroactive to the past, a marker is added to a directory having the time information according to the time counter before being modified. The latest directory is detected on the basis of the marker and the time information.

  • Patent number: 6999380
Abstract: A timepiece comprises a standard time clock for counting standard time and means for calculating daylight saving time by adding a predetermined time correction value to the standard time when judging that the standard time is within the period of daylight saving time. When a time input for setting the timepiece is after a daylight saving time starting time as expressed in the standard time and before a daylight saving time starting time as expressed in daylight saving time, the timepiece corrects the input time by adding the time correction value thereto and sets the corrected time as daylight saving time for the standard time clock. A monitoring camera device comprises the timepiece. Time data output from the timepiece when an image is captured is added as image capturing time data to image data obtained by capturing the image.

  • Patent number: 6712119
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided to process collected sand. This method and apparatus allow the moisture content to be adjusted and the addition of a binder to be facilitated to renew the collected sand as casting sand for future use. Also, defective castings are prevented when they are made by a main mold using the renewed casting sand. The sand-collecting means can be compact. The method is performed and the apparatus is operated by separating a main mold of green sand, after casting is conducted, into parts unaffected and affected by the molten metal heat, adjusting the moisture content of the part unaffected by molten metal heat for use as facing sand in the next main mold making, and adding a binder and adjusting the moisture content of the part affected by the molten metal heat for use as back sand in making the next main mold.

  • Patent number: 6683650
Abstract: A digital camera includes an LCD to display a photographic image. If an operator manipulates a menu button during displaying a memory-reproduced photographic image on the LCD, a menu icon is displayed by superposition on the photographic image being displayed. Simultaneously, the photographic image is reduced in luminance. If the operator operates an image switching button, the photographic image being displayed is renewed by a desired photographic image. During renewal, the icon is suspended of display and the photographic image is increased in luminance. When the renewal is completed, the photographic image is reduced in luminance again and the icon is redisplayed.

  • Patent number: 5887638
Abstract: A method for measuring the strength of a cavity surface (2a) of a mold (2) and for simultaneously pressing one or more marks (21a, 21b) in the cavity surface (2a) is disclosed. Such marks (21a, 21b) formed in a cavity surface of a mold are transferred to a cast when it is produced from the mold, and the transferred marks appearing on the surface of the cast display some information. The method includes the steps of pressing one or more marks (21a, 21b) in a cavity surface of a mold by using a press member (14) that has a pressure sensor (15), and measuring the strength of the mold (2) by detecting a reaction force by the pressure sensor (15) that acts on the press member (14) when the press member presses the mark in the cavity surface of the mold.
