  • Publication number: 20160261342
Abstract: A Lighting device, which performs visible light communication with a receiver including an image sensor, includes: a dividing unit that divides identification information assigned to the lighting device into N packets (where N is a natural number greater than or equal to 2); a block generator that generates signal blocks each of which includes M packets (where M is a natural number greater than or equal to N) that include at least one of each of the N packets; and a light source that sequentially transmits the signal blocks in (i) each frame cycle of the image sensor or in (ii) each cycle substantially equal to an integral multiple of the frame cycle, by superimposing each of the signal blocks onto illumination light. The block generator generates the signal blocks so that an order of arranging the M packets is different between consecutive signal blocks in the signal blocks.

  • Publication number: 20150003836
Abstract: The visible light communication system includes: a lighting fixture to send unique identification information by visible light communication; a receiver having a correction mode; and a server. In the correction mode, the receiver sends the identification information received from the lighting fixture, and in response to reception of positional information from the server, displays map information and the positional information on a display device, and waits for touch input to a touch panel. When receiving the touch input, the receiver sends corrected positional information determined by a position at which the touch input is received. When receiving the corrected positional information, the server replaces the positional information corresponding to the identification information with the corrected positional information.

  • Patent number: 8339053
Abstract: An LED dimming includes: current adjusting means (constant current circuit) for variably controlling a magnitude of a current flowing through an LED load; switching means (transistor) for intermittently controlling the current flowing through the LED load; and dimming controlling means (microcomputer) for controlling the current adjusting means and the switching means upon receiving a dimming signal outputted from a dimmer. In a case where the dimming signal outputted from the dimmer is on a higher brightness side than a predetermined level, the dimming controlling means flows a continuous current though the LED load, and dims the LED load based on a magnitude of the flowing current, and in a case where the dimming signal outputted from the dimmer is on a lower brightness side than the predetermined level, the dimming controlling means flows a pulse current through the LED load, and changes a mean value of waveforms of the pulse current, thereby dims the LED load.
