  • Publication number: 20180363746
Abstract: A ball recirculation tube (4) forms a passage connecting two separated portions of a ball-rolling passage of a ball screw device (1) to cause balls (6) to recirculate. An outer portion (4a, 4b) of the ball recirculation tube (4) that constitutes an outer end located radially farthest from the center axis of a screw shaft (2) has an adjustable portion used to adjust the distance from the center axis of the screw shaft (2) to the outer end. This facilitates attachment of a member fitted on a nut and the ball recirculation tube (4).

  • Patent number: 5244317
Abstract: A slurry supplying device by which a uniformly mixed slurry can be supplied to a blasting gun in a pressure-type wet blasting machine. The slurry supplying device comprises a substantially closed vessel which contains the slurry and has a conical section in at least one part of the vessel. A conical stop valve is freely movable up and down to close the bottom of the slurry settling section by sealingly fitting its conical edge on the conical section of the vessel. An air duct supplies low pressure air for agitating the slurry at a lower part of the closed vessel by raising the stop valve body. An air duct is provided for supplying highly pressurized air into the closed vessel for pressurizing the slurry. A slurry supply pipe is provided for supplying the pressurized slurry to the blasting gun. A pressure relief valve is mounted on the top plate of the vessel for maintaining a maximum air pressure in the upper portion of the vessel.

  • Patent number: 5168671
Abstract: A method and apparatus for removing clogging material from between abrasive grains of a grinding wheel. A pressurized blasting fluid is supplied to a blasting gun, which in turn sucks an abrasive particle-liquid slurry into the gun. The slurry is entraining in the stream of blasting fluid, causing the liquid to be broken down into mist particles, and the resultant stream is discharged against the surface of the grinding wheel at a pressure in the range of 2.0 to 3.5 kg/cm.sup.2.

  • Patent number: 4330968
Abstract: A wet blasting machine having a slurry reclaiming tank and a clear liquid tank, both located at the lower part of the blasting chamber. An abrasive particle reservoir is located adjacent the blasting chamber and above the reclaiming tank. The inside of the reservoir is separated by a perforated plate into an abrasive particle chamber and a liquid chamber. The lower part of the separating plate defines an outlet for the abrasive particles. A blasting gun is positioned inside the blasting chamber, and a high pressure pump supplies clear liquid to the gun. A slurry-inducing pipe passes through the outlet of the abrasive particle chamber and has one end thereof opening into the liquid chamber, and the other end thereof connected to the blasting gun. A slurry pump supplies the mixture in the reclaiming tank to a liquid-solid separating device wherein the separated liquid is sent to the clear liquid tank and the separated particles are sent to the abrasive particle chamber.

  • Patent number: 4319435
Abstract: A wet blasting machine for permitting deburring of workpieces by utilizing a slurry of water and abrasive particles. The slurry is discharged by a blasting gun against the workpiece, and is then collected within a reclaiming tank. The top water flows from the reclaiming tank into an intermediate settling tank, and the top water is then withdrawn therefrom into a clear water tank. A multiple-section reciprocating pumping unit supplies pressurized water from the clear water tank to the blasting gun, which sucks slurry to the gun from an abrasive particle reservoir located approximately at or above the elevation of the gun. The abrasive particles are supplied to the reservoir from the reclaiming tank.
