  • Patent number: 7940013
Abstract: A lighting apparatus includes light emitters to illuminate an illuminated member. Relationship information about a relationship between variations in the amount of light emitted by each of the light emitters and variations in an amount of light received on each of the different portions of the illuminated member are stored in memory. A controller is operable to control individually, based on the relationship information, the amount of the light emitted by each of the light emitters so that the amount of light received on the different portions of the illuminated member are substantially even.

  • Patent number: 7659873
Abstract: A counter circuit increments a count value bit by bit in synchronization with a clock pulse received from an oscillating portion. A lower order decoder receives the count value output from the counter circuit, compares a bit or bits on a lower side with a set value 1, and outputs an H-level only in a time period when the bit or bits match a bit pattern of set value 1. Similarly, an upper order decoder compares a bit or bits on an upper side with a set value 2, and outputs an H-level only in a time period when the bit or bits match the bit pattern of set value 2. An AND circuit renders a transistor conductive in a time period when both lower and upper order decoders are outputting signals of the H-level.

  • Publication number: 20090016060
Abstract: A lighting apparatus of the present invention is composed of: LED arrays (LL1 to LLn) for illuminating a panel (3); a light amount control section (12) for individually controlling the amount of light emitted by each of the LED arrays; light sensors (4a to 4d) for respectively detecting the amounts of light received on the different portions of the panel (3); a light amount determination section (6) for determining a correlation between the detected amounts of light received on the different portions of the panel (3); and a memory (7) for storing relationship information on the relationship between variations in the amount of light emitted by each of the LED arrays and variations in the amount of light received on each of the different portions of the panel (3).

  • Publication number: 20070296887
Abstract: A power supply device has a regulator that performs conductivity control of an output transistor in such a way that a feedback voltage according to an output voltage is made equal to a reference voltage; a charge pump that produces the output voltage by stepping up an input voltage from the regulator; a detector that detects whether or not a control voltage of the output transistor has reached a threshold voltage; and a state controller that changes a step-up factor of the charge pump based on a comparison result of the detector. With this configuration, despite having a small-scale circuit configuration, the power supply device can appropriately perform state control of the charge pump.

  • Publication number: 20070257880
Abstract: A drive current generator that supplies a desired drive current to an LED has: a drive transistor that is connected in series between one end of the LED and a ground; a first current control portion that performs conductivity control of the drive transistor in such a way that a monitoring voltage commensurate with a current flowing through a reference resistor equals a predetermined reference voltage, and that produces an intermediate current that behaves in the same way as a drive current; a current mirror portion that produces a mirror current commensurate with the intermediate current at a given ratio, and that feeds the mirror current thus produced back to the reference resistor; and a second current control portion that keeps the ratio of the drive current to the intermediate current at a given value. With this configuration, it is possible to supply a desired drive current to the load while minimizing the reduction in efficiency.

  • Patent number: 6134249
Abstract: An information transfer system includes circuit packages each being connected in cascade through a transmission line. An input cell stream including idle cells is transferred through the transmission line from an input circuit package to an output circuit package. The idle cells of the cell stream are used to transfer necessary control information to the circuit packages through the transmission line. In the input circuit package, a control cell is generated which includes a plurality of control signals each including the control information and specifying information. The control information set is inserted into an idle cell detected from the input cell stream to produce a multiplex cell stream. Each circuit package is provided with an information detector which detects its own control information from the multiplex cell stream based on the specifying information.

  • Patent number: 5291840
Abstract: An incinerator system is built up of an air-permeable base (2), an outer wall (3) extending uprightly therefrom and a front or first furnace (4) and a rear or second furnace (5) set up thereon. The first and second furnaces are each in a vertically extending, cylindrical form and are connected with each other through first, second, third and fourth fume guide pipes (6) to (9), arranged from below, thereby assuring that refuse or trash can be incinerated and maintaining the outer wall at a temperature safe enough to allow access to it.
