  • Patent number: 5975890
Abstract: A catalytic combustor utilizes radioactive heat with a high efficiency, has a radiation wavelength distribution rich in visible ray components, and is excellent in complete combustibility and visual confirmability even in a standby combustion condition. The present invention forms a thin film coat of metal or metal oxide which transmits rays having short wavelengths and reflects rays having long wavelengths on a surface of a transmission window disposed opposite to an upstream surface of a catalyst body. The catalyst body is composed of a metal wire structure having a high aperture ratio and is disposed in a combustion chamber. Furthermore, an auxiliary catalyst body which has a high aperture ratio and a small capacity is disposed in the vicinity of a mixed gas injection port at a location in contact with the mixed gas when the flow rate of the mixed gas is less than a predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 5864895
Abstract: A handy body washer comprises: a main body; a pump accommodated in the main body, a tank, slidably attached to the main body to house the main body therein, and a retractable nozzle member connected to the main body. The nozzle member has a free end and a plurality of nozzle apertures formed proximate the free end. The tank comprises: (i) a bottomed cylindrical body having an open top end and a bottom end, where the bottom end has a water supply opening; (ii) a water supply cover pivotally supported on the bottom end for opening and closing the water supply opening; and (iii) a gutter formed in an inner surface of the water supply cover for introducing the washing water flowing downward into the water supply opening while the water supply cover is open.

  • Patent number: 4401328
Abstract: An electrically operated, hand-held tier for tying a length of fishline to a fishhook comprises a tying wheel mounted rotatably on a bearing boss for rotation in one direction. The tying wheel has an anchoring member secured thereto for holding releaseably one end portion of the fishline after the fishline has been passed through the bearing boss. One end of a fishhook opposite to its sharp point is adapted to be received in coaxial relation to the bearing boss and has a number of turns of the fishline formed thereon when the tying wheel is rotated several times thereabout. The rotation of the tying wheel is effective to form a knot on the fishline which is necessary to secure the fishhook to the fishline.
