  • Publication number: 20100182402
Abstract: The present invention makes it possible to perform transmission of stereo image data between devices in a favorable manner. A source device (disc player 210) receives E-EDID from a sink device (television receiver 250) via DDC of an HDMI cable 350. This E-EDID contains information on 3D image data transmission modes that can be supported by the sink device. On the basis of the information on 3D image data transmission modes from the sink device, the source device selects a predetermined transmission mode from among the 3D image data transmission modes that can be supported by the sink device. The sink device transmits 3D image data in the selected transmission mode to the sink device. For the convenience of processing in the sink device, the source device transmits information on the transmission mode for the 3D image data transmitted, to the sink device by using an AVI InfoFrame packet or the like.

  • Publication number: 20060189418
Abstract: This invention intends to provide a deviation measuring apparatus which enables to select a bat capable of bringing a hitting position of a ball to near the center core position of a baseball bat or correct a batting form of a batter by measuring a difference between the hitting position of the ball and the center core position of the bat when the ball is hit with the bat actually. More specifically, there is provided a deviation measuring apparatus for measuring the degree of deviation between the center core position of a baseball bat and the hitting position of a ball by the bat, comprising: a high speed camera for photographing a condition in which the bat strikes the ball; and computing means for obtaining a distance of a difference between the center core position of the bat and the hitting position of the ball.

  • Publication number: 20060181075
Abstract: A program and method are used for assessing and selecting a ski or snowboard suitable for an individual skier or snowboarder. Skis and snowboards are judged as suitable for the weight and leg strength of a skier or snowboarder, and their skill level and preferred technique. Such methods may include steps of inputting the weight, the leg strength, and the skill level, determining a bending characteristic of skis or snowboards that correspond to the user's weight and leg strength, determining a torsion characteristic that corresponds to the user's skill level, and assessing and selecting a ski or snowboard suitable for those characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20020101061
Abstract: A snowboard binding for securing a snowboard boot to a snowboard is disclosed. The snowboard binding includes a base plate that includes a lifted portion which is detached from the snowboard. The lifted portion elastically bends downward and provides cushioning effects such that an improved control and maneuverability of the snowboard is provided. An elastic plate, replaceable or not, may be inserted between the lifted portion and the snowboard so that additional control of the cushioning effects may be provided.

  • Patent number: 6116611
Abstract: There is disclosed a tubular packing which can be easily produced, and has satisfactory durability while maintaining excellent properties of exfoliated graphite such as cushioning properties and heat-resistance. There are prepared a sheet of exfoliated graphite sheet and two wire nets equal in size and shape to the sheet. The one wire net is superposed on an obverse side of the sheet in coinciding relation thereto whereas the other wire net is held in contact with a reverse side of the sheet in offset relation thereto, and this stack is curved into a tubular shape, and this tubular stack is compressed in a direction of a thickness of the sheet, thereby forming a tubular packing. Therefore, in the resultant tubular packing, the wire nets are embedded in the sheet. The wire net interconnects the opposite end edges of the sheet in a bridging manner, so that the tubular packing is continuous over the entire circumference thereof.
