  • Publication number: 20180176764
Abstract: A communications system that facilitates installation of an access point includes an access point, an aggregation device, and a management device. The access point: broadcasts an identifier identifying each of multiple wireless networks; and outputs, as access information, access by a terminal using the identifier. The aggregation device stores the access information and generates an access log. The management device accepts an identifier character string transmitted by the access point, and alters the identifier on the basis of the inputted character string. The management device sends a request to the aggregation device to output user identifier information including the identifier used by the terminal connected to a wireless network. The aggregation device generates user identifier information from the access log, and outputs the generated information to the management device. The management device outputs information corresponding to the acquired user identifier information to the outside.

  • Publication number: 20170359830
Abstract: In order to make priority control applicable to a packet from an apparatus, which requires the priority control, independently of the transfer path of the packet, a communication apparatus includes a determination unit, a setting unit, and a priority control unit. The determination unit determines whether a transmission source address of a received packet has been registered in a priority control list as an address of a first apparatus. The setting unit sets a first priority level in a predetermined field in a header of the received packet when the transmission source address of the received packet has been registered in the priority control list as the address of the first apparatus. The priority control unit performs transmission control in accordance with the first priority level with respect to the received packet in which the first priority level has been set.

  • Patent number: 8699482
Abstract: In a communication system in which computer 20 transmits an HTTP request to WWW server 70 via broadband router apparatus 30 and the Internet 50, and WWW server 70 transmits an HTTP response to computer 20 according to the received HTTP request, broadband router apparatus 30 establishes an IP phone session and a TCP connection with HTTP proxy server 620 upon receiving the HTTP request from computer 20, and transmits the received HTTP request to WWW server 70 via HTTP proxy server 620.

  • Publication number: 20110310900
Abstract: A communication relay apparatus includes a frame transfer unit. The frame transfer unit has a function to change destination information included in a frame, which is a unit of data transfer, from information indicating the own apparatus into information indicating a predetermined external communication apparatus without changing source information included in the frame, when the frame is received. Further, the frame transfer unit has a function to transfer the frame after the change to the external communication apparatus.

  • Patent number: 7941134
Abstract: The communication form of each terminal which participates in PTT communication is registered in a call control server in advance. When performing PTT communication, a call control server (100a) detects the communication form of each terminal. As a result, speech data is extracted from moving image data transmitted from a transmission terminal and is delivered to a speech PTT terminal which can receive only speech data (S11, S12). On the other hand, moving image data transmitted from a transmission terminal is delivered to a moving image PTT terminal compatible with moving image data without any change (S13). This makes it possible to implement PTT communication in accordance with the communication form of each terminal.

  • Publication number: 20080167057
Abstract: A terminal device (30a) transmits image data to an image server (10) (S603). The image server generates the identification information of the image data. A PTT server (20) distributes the generated identification information to all terminal devices (30a -30n). If the terminal device does not hold the distributed identification information, the identification information is transmitted to the image server (S611). The image server transmits image data associated with the received identification information to the terminal device as the identification information transmission source (S615). Upon receiving the image data, the terminal device outputs the terminal device (S617). This allows to exchange data except voice data.

  • Publication number: 20040131057
Abstract: The present invention relates to a router apparatus and a bandwidth controlling method thereof. An object of the present invention is to provide a router apparatus which allows a network connection bandwidth to be equally used by a plurality of clients without need to perform a special bandwidth acquisition procedure. A router apparatus according to the present invention is a router apparatus for controlling a bandwidth, said router apparatus being disposed between a network and a plurality of clients under an environment in which the bandwidth for connection with a network is shared by a plurality of clients, said router apparatus comprising: address management means for assigning an address to a client in response to a network connection request issued from the client; and bandwidth management means for reassigning the bandwidth to the assigned address and addresses assigned to the other clients.
