  • Patent number: 6590152
Abstract: An electromagnetic shield cap (3) includes a projection (34) which is pressed against an electronic component (1) with an elastic force when the cap is mounted to the electronic component (1). Since the projection (34) is pressed against the electronic component (1), the electromagnetic shield cap (3) is prevented from being detached from the electronic component (1). Therefore, it is possible to eliminate the necessity for bonding the electromagnetic shield cap (3) to the electronic component (1) with an adhesive.

  • Patent number: 6388632
Abstract: A slot antenna includes an antenna guide formed with a recess, a dielectric member received in the recess, a slot plate held in contact with the dielectric member; and a waveguide connected to the antenna guide for introduction of microwaves. The slot plate is uniformly supported by the dielectric member. Alternatively, the slot plate is provided with an expansion absorbing region, so that the slot plate is displaceable relative to the dielectric member.

  • Patent number: 6054648
Abstract: A shield case is formed by bending one sheet of a magnetic metal plate that is generally in a T-character form, which has a top plate, two side plates sandwiching the top plate, and a back plate extending from a rear edge of the top plate and sandwiched between the side plates. A semiconductor optical device is placed between the side plates, and elastically held at its side surfaces by clamp pieces formed in the side plates. By inwardly bending the back plate to a position in parallel to the top plate, the semiconductor optical device at its back and bottom surfaces is shielded. The side surfaces and light-receiving/light-emitting surface of the semiconductor optical device are respectively shielded by the side plates and the top plate.
