Abstract: Disclosed is a heat-sensitive recording material comprising (a) a transparent film, (b) a heat-sensitive recording layer formed on one side of the transparent film, and containing an electron-donating compound, an electron-accepting compound, and a binder, (c) a protective layer formed on the heat-sensitive recording layer, and containing an aqueous resin as a primary component; and (d) a backside layer formed on the other side of the transparent film, and containing a pigment and a binder; the heat-sensitive recording material containing in the backside layer spherical resin particles having a mean volume particle diameter of 2 to 15 ?m in an amount of 0.2 to 5.0 mass % of the backside layer.

Abstract: A luminescent sheet for stamps comprising a subtrate and a luminescent layer formed on the surface of said substrate, characterized in that said luminescent layer contains fine particles of an inorganic fluorescent pigment, said fine particles being prepared by providing a dispersion containing particles having a mean specific surface area Sw.sub.2 of said inorganic fluorescent pigment in water, and subjecting said dispersion to wet-grinding to obtain an aqueous dispersion containing fine particles having a mean specific surface area Sw.sub.1 of said inorganic fluorescent pigment, and said fine particles satisfying the equation: 2.0.gtoreq.Sw.sub.1 /Sw.sub.2 .gtoreq.1.05.

Abstract: Provided herein is an improved self-adhesive sheet composed of a base member having a water-soluble polymer layer on its reverse side and a release member, with a pressure sensitive adhesive layer interposed between them, in which the bond strength between the water-soluble polymer layer and the pressure sensitive adhesive layer remains high. It can be stuck readily without moistening; and yet it can be peeled off easily simply by dipping in water.
