  • Patent number: 6478550
Abstract: A first bypass valve (27) that sets discharge capacity to 60% is provided in a first scroll 21 of an asymmetrical spiral-type scroll compressor. Also, a second bypass valve (40) that makes suction side and discharge side communicated with each other so that set load of the compressor becomes 50% is provided outside a scroll of the first scroll (21). In this way, by closing the first and second bypass valves (27, 40), effective load of the compressor is set to 100%. Also, by opening the first bypass valve (27) and concurrently closing the second bypass valve (40), the effective load of the compressor is set to 60%. Further, by opening both the first and second bypass valves (27, 40), the effective load of the compressor is set to 30%.

That is, 50% or lower partial load operation with high reliability is performed by setting volume ratio Vr during minimum capacity operation to a value of “1” or more. As a result of this, 50% or lower partial load operation can be changed over in multiple stages.

  • Patent number: 6139287
Abstract: A scroll type fluid machine having a bypass hole structure for capacity control is disclosed. The scroll type fluid machine comprises a first scroll having a first spiral blade, and a second scroll having a second spiral blade. A first fluid working chamber is formed between an inner surface of the first spiral blade, and a second scroll having a second spiral blade. A first fluid working chamber is formed between an inner surface of the first spiral blade and an outer surface of the second spiral blade, and a second fluid working chamber is formed between an outer surface of the first spiral blade and an inner surface of the second spiral blade. A winding end of the first spiral blade is extended so that the first fluid working chamber and the second fluid working chamber open and close with respect to a single low-pressure port. A common bypass hole making the first and second fluid working chambers communicate with the low-pressure port in common is provided.

  • Patent number: 5703709
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and a device for color laser marking for attaining visible coloring without drastic modification of conventional devices and without using dyestuffs. To this end, in a color laser marking method, a workpiece (10) is a synthetic material made from organic and inorganic materials and, when irradiating laser light, patterns in different colors can be obtained by varying the received light intensity on the workpiece (10). In addition, in a color laser marking device, when the workpiece (10) is a synthetic material made from organic and inorganic materials, a controller (11) outputs laser irradiation intensity varying signals to at least one of laser irradiation intensity varying means, such as a laser oscillator (1).

  • Patent number: 5683237
Abstract: In a horizontal type scroll compressor an external end of a volute (2b) of a fixed scroll (2) is extended near to an external end side of a volute (3b) of a movable scroll (3). By the extension of the volute (2b), inlet ports (22, 23) opening to compression rooms (RA, RB) respectively are disposed near to each other and are located at an upper level in a closed casing (1). An inlet passage (24) is formed at the top of a housing (4) which divides the closed casing (1) into a compression element chamber (12A) and a motor chamber (12B). The opening position of an inlet pipe (11) is displaced circumferentially with respect to the inlet passage (24). The inlet passage (24) is displaced circumferentially with respect to the inlet ports (22, 23) of the compression rooms (RA, RB). The inlet passage (24) is displaced forward in a traveling direction of the movable scroll (3) with respect to the inlet ports (22, 23).

  • Patent number: 5314316
Abstract: A scroll type fluid machinery which is provided with: a first scroll and a second scroll which moves with respect to the first scroll, where the base of the first scroll is provided with suction bores perforating through the base from the rear surface thereof to the front surface, and open at the outer peripheral portion of the front surface of the base, so that fluid released into an internal space of the body casing passes through the suction bores, and into the suction sides of compression volumes formed between spiral members of the scrolls, whereby suction pressure in the compression volumes is maximized and volumetric efficiency is improved.

  • Patent number: 5286179
Abstract: A thermal isolation arrangement for use in a co-rotating scroll refrigerant compressor includes various thermal insulation elements adapted to minimize heat transfer between hot rotating members of the scroll fluid device and the return refrigerant to be compressed, and between hot lubricant in the compressor and the return refrigerant. The thermal isolation elements of the present invention may be used individually or collectively to minimize the preheating of the inlet refrigerant so as to maintain the density of the return refrigerant being compressed to thereby increase the total efficiency of the scroll fluid device.

  • Patent number: 4737088
Abstract: A rotary compressor for helium gas has a cylinder defining a closed space therein, a rotor disposed in the closed space for eccentric rotary motion while making a sliding contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder, and a blade slidably mounted on the cylinder and resiliently projected into the closed space for sliding contact with the rotor so as to divide the closed space into a suction chamber and a discharge chamber. The compressor further has an oil relief passage which is arranged to allow the discharge chamber to communicate with a space outside the discharge chamber in the final stage of the discharging stroke before the crank angle of the compressor reaches an angle corresponding to the position of a discharge port.
