Abstract: Provided are an identity confirmation method and an identity confirmation system in which it is not necessary to keep a password in memory and in which a credential used for authentication is changed automatically without requiring a user operation. Life log data for the user is received, life log data history is accumulated and managed, the life log data history is referenced to generate a question relating to history that the user is likely to know, the question is transmitted over the Internet to a mobile communication device, an answer to the question relating to history produced by the user and transmitted from the mobile communication device is received over the Internet, the answer from the user is evaluated to determine whether or not the answer is correct, and the success or failure of identification is determined on the basis of the evaluation result.

Abstract: An automatic logon support method and system enable a user having an access right to easily access a website on the Internet through a mobile communication device without asking the user to manually input a credential. Information about a history of when and where the mobile communication device is located is collected and stored in the mobile communication device itself. The server which hosts the website determines whether to allow a mobile communication device to access the server on the basis of the location information history stored in the mobile communication device.

The current position of each mobile communication device are periodically acquired in association with the current time and accumulated as a visited location history. The visited location history consists of location visited records each of which consists of a visited location and a visit time. Similar visited location records are extracted from the visited location histories of the first and second users to indicate common interests shared by them. The similar visited location records are then displayed on the mobile communication devices.

Web sites are automatically and recursively visited and downloaded through hyperlinks. Content items containing address and establishment information are retrieved from the information as downloaded from the visited web sites. The content retrieved items are indexed to associate the address information items contained therein with the establishment information items contained therein about establishments which are located in the addresses associated therewith respectively. A visual indication indicative of the establishment corresponding to an establishment information item is superimposed on a map image in a position corresponding to the address of this establishment with reference to the indexed content items. The map image is transmitted to a user through the Internet in response to a request message from the user.
