  • Patent number: 10852314
Abstract: A sample processing system is configured for analyzing, preprocessing, or carrying out other operations for a biological sample such as blood or urea. With the sample processing system, it is possible to store samples to be stored in a thermally insulated state or specimens required for accuracy control in the thermally insulated state for preventing evaporation or denaturing of the samples and specimens. Also it is possible to carry in or out the samples, rack by rack, according to necessity. Further, the sample processing system is provided with a buffer unit in a cold container having a capability for cold storage and also by accessing a sample rack at random for carrying in or out a rack with a transfer mechanism provided outside of the cold container.

  • Patent number: 9863969
Abstract: A method of evaporation control of a sample which is stored in a thermally insulated state is configured for preventing evaporation or denaturing of the samples and specimens. The method includes carrying the samples contained in individual containers out from a cold container having a capability of cold storage. An elapsed time that each sample container has been removed from the cold container is measured and is compared with a preset time. If the elapsed time is less than the preset time, the sample container can be returned to the cold container. An alarm is output if the elapsed time exceeds the preset time.

  • Patent number: 8760264
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a sample processing system, wherein writing to each RFID is equalized to eliminate unevenness in the use of sample containers. The configuration of the present invention can be realized by controlling the numbers of times (write counts) data is written to RFIDs, and by skipping data writing according to frequencies in the use of sample containers. Setting use information (count) of each IC tag, and comparing the use information with an average value of the use of the IC tags, make it possible to limit the write counts, which enables the equalization of writing to the IC tags, thereby making it possible to uniform the use of the sample containers in the system.

  • Publication number: 20120129673
Abstract: The weight difference is limited between buckets (17) mounted at respective symmetrical positions with respect to a centrifugal separation rotational center and examination of samples is continuously performed in the order in which they are received. In particular, when a sample (21) is carried in a centrifugal buffer line (11), its weight is measured by weight measuring means (31). It is assumed that the names of two adaptors (22) placed at respective symmetrical positions with respect to the centrifugal separation rotational center are defined as an adaptor A and an adaptor B. A first sample is put on the adaptor A and a second sample is put on the adaptor B. Then, a third sample and subsequent ones are each put on the adaptor (22) lighter than the other adaptor after the total weights of samples put on the adaptors are computation-compared with each other.
