Patent number: 7758948Abstract: A laminate support includes a layered elastic body structured by rigid plates, which have rigidity, and elastic plates, which have elasticity, being layered alternately in a predetermined layering direction, and a hollow portion is formed in the layered elastic body in the layering direction. A plastic fluid material structured by an elastic perfect plastic body (a non-hardening elastoplastic body) is placed-in the elastic body hollow portion of the layered elastic body. Further, a plurality of particle-shaped hard fillers, which are structured of a hard material which is considered to be a rigid body with respect to the plastic fluid material, are filled-in the plastic fluid material so as to be a predetermined volume fill rate. A laminate support, which can be disposed of or the like at a low cost and which can exhibit a large damping force, can be obtained.Type: GrantFiled: November 7, 2006Date of Patent: July 20, 2010Assignee: Bridgestone CorporationInventors: Shigenobu Suzuki, Nobuo Murota, Takashi Kikuchi, Hironori Hamazaki

Patent number: 5140672Abstract: An expansive circuit diagram information generator for use with computer aided design (CAD) systems to generate expansive circuit diagrams from a hierarchical circuit diagram. The expansion method makes the expanded circuit diagram more easily readable for its user. The circuit diagram generator consists of the following: An input for the hierarchical circuit diagram composed of high level circuits and low level circuit references; A reproducing unit to insert circuits into the lower level circuit references from a table of standard circuits; A name changing unit to make unique the names between the lower level circuit diagrams which the reproducing unit made identical by referencing two identical circuits from the standards table; and an interface symbol changing unit for replacing links between higher level circuit diagrams and lower level circuit diagrams with jump tags.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 1989Date of Patent: August 18, 1992Assignee: NEC CorporationInventor: Shigenobu Suzuki

Patent number: 4899323Abstract: An anti-seismic device which comprises anti-seismic rubber bearings and dampers arranged in parallel, the anti-seismic rubber bearing being formed by laminating a plurality of rigid hard plates and soft boards having a viscoelastic property one over another, the damper being composed mainly of a viscoelastic material having the physical properties (i) and (ii) defined below.(i) the hysteresis ratio (h.sub.50) is greater than 0.3 at 50% tensile deformation at 25.degree. C.(ii) the storage modulus (E) measured dynamically at a frequency of 5 Hz, a strain of 0.01%, and a temperature of 25.degree. C. is in the range of 1.ltoreq.E.ltoreq.2.times.10.sup.4 (kg/cm.sup.2).Type: GrantFiled: April 12, 1989Date of Patent: February 6, 1990Assignee: Bridgestone CorporationInventors: Yoshihide Fukahori, Hiromu Kojima, Akihiko Ogino, Shigenobu Suzuki, Toshikazu Yoshizawa

Patent number: 4319435Abstract: A wet blasting machine for permitting deburring of workpieces by utilizing a slurry of water and abrasive particles. The slurry is discharged by a blasting gun against the workpiece, and is then collected within a reclaiming tank. The top water flows from the reclaiming tank into an intermediate settling tank, and the top water is then withdrawn therefrom into a clear water tank. A multiple-section reciprocating pumping unit supplies pressurized water from the clear water tank to the blasting gun, which sucks slurry to the gun from an abrasive particle reservoir located approximately at or above the elevation of the gun. The abrasive particles are supplied to the reservoir from the reclaiming tank.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 1980Date of Patent: March 16, 1982Assignee: Fuji Seiki Machine Works, Ltd.Inventors: Shigenobu Suzuki, Kooichi Hayashi, Chiaki Hayashi, Toshiyuki Takagi, Shigeharu Kobayashi

Patent number: 4154080Abstract: There is disclosed an apparatus for supporting roll chocks of a work roll in a roll stand housing. This apparatus includes a thrust transmitting head member between the roll chock and a rolling force effecting mechanism such as a screw of a screw down mechanism. The head member has a spherical surface at one end in contact with a mating spherical surface formed at one end of the screw. These spherical surfaces have different radii to make point contact therebetween and to enable rolling contact movement between the head member and the screw in the rocking motion of the roll chock caused by a force in a workpiece generated during a rolling operation, to thereby provide more accurate measurement of tension in the workpiece being rolled by employing force sensing devices acting on the roll chocks. The head member also has inclined surfaces at the other end thereof in registration with mating inclined surfaces formed at one side of the roll chock.Type: GrantFiled: October 18, 1977Date of Patent: May 15, 1979Assignees: Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd., Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Shigenobu Suzuki, Motoo Asakawa
