  • Patent number: 6960861
Abstract: A yoke includes a plurality of recessed portions. A teeth block includes a plurality of protruding portions being coupled or fitted into the recessed portions of the yoke. The recessed portions and the protruding portions are disposed as a plurality of pairs in the lamination direction. The protruding portions and the yoke are fixed with a teeth fixing pin.

  • Publication number: 20050236922
Abstract: A concentrated winding stator coil of a proximal end extraction type two-layer winding arrangement includes numerous tooth coils which are connected in series to arrange serial coil units and also connected in parallel as pairs arranging respective phase windings. Plural inter-coil bus bars are provided to connect the tooth coils of the serial coil units. Plural terminal bus bars extend from both ends of the serial coil units to connect respective serial coil units in parallel with each other. These bus bars are disposed adjacently to an end face of a core back.

  • Publication number: 20050236921
Abstract: A tooth coil of a concentrated winding stator includes a first layer coil arranged by successively winding a flat type wire around a tooth in a direction advancing from a proximal end portion to a distal end portion of the tooth and a second layer coil arranged by successively winding the wire around and on the first layer coil in a direction advancing from the distal end portion to the proximal end portion of the tooth. The second layer coil of the tooth coil has no turn at a most proximal end portion of the tooth corresponding to a start turn of the first layer coil, so that the tooth coil has an odd turn number.

  • Publication number: 20040256941
Abstract: A concentrated-winding type stator coil unit for a rotary electric machine is provided with a stator core having a core back and teeth protruding from the core back. Plural coils are wound around the teeth respectively. Each coil is composed of, for example, a first layered coil formed by winding a coil wire in a layer around each tooth to form plural turns arranged in parallel on each tooth and a second layered coil formed by winding the coil wire in a layer to from plural turns around the first layered coil wound around each tooth. The last turn of the first layered coil continues to the first turn of the second layered coil. Both ends of the coil wire are located at and on a base potion of each of the teeth as a winding-start end and a winding-finish end of each of the coils.

  • Publication number: 20040232800
Abstract: A compact and reliable structure of a multi-rotor synchronous machine which may be employed as a generator/motor for automotive vehicles is provided. The machine includes an outer rotor having permanent magnets, an inner rotor having permanent magnets disposed to be rotatable relative to the outer rotor, a stator core having armature coils interlinking with field magnetic fluxes produced by the outer and inner rotors, and a rotor-to-rotor relative rotation controlling mechanism. A relative angle between the outer and inner rotors is controlled within a given angular range by controlling the phase and quantity of current flowing through the armature coils to rotate the inner rotor relative to the outer rotor through the rotor-to-rotor relative rotation controlling mechanism, thereby changing the magnetic fluxes interlinking with the armature coils as needed.

  • Patent number: 6590312
Abstract: A rotary electric machine for a hybrid vehicle includes a rotor connected between a vehicle engine and a torque transmission mechanism at the back of the vehicle engine and a stator. The rotor includes an outer rotor portion having an inner surface electro-magnetically connected to the outer surface of the stator, an inner rotor portion having an outer surface electro-magnetically connected to the inner surface of the stator. The stator includes a stator core disposed between the inner rotor portion and the outer rotor portion and a multi-phase winding wound on the stator to be electro-magnetically connected with both the outer and inner rotor portions.
