Patent number: 5536218Abstract: A reduction gear mechanism applicable for a geared motor used for lifters for business equipment or the like. A trochoid tooth profile internally meshing type planetary reduction gear mechanism is used as the basic reduction gear mechanism. Each of an external gear and an internal gear is formed of a resin having a small rigidity. Each of an output shaft and a bearing supporting the external gear is formed of a metal having a large rigidity. As a result, the reduction mechanism ensures the rigidity and rotational smoothness in usual operation. Moreover, when a torque more than a value required for a mating member to be driven is applied, the external gear and internal gear are deformed, resulting in the increased meshing loss. The reduction mechanism can reduce the efficiency mechanically by the increase in the meshing loss. Even if a reversing load is applied from the output shaft side, the efficiency can be also reduced by the same meshing loss.Type: GrantFiled: November 1, 1994Date of Patent: July 16, 1996Assignee: Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Sueo Fukaya, Shigeo Watanabe

Patent number: 5263317Abstract: Disclosed is an exhaust gas purifying apparatus for an automobile diesel engine including a pair of electrodes disposed at a predetermined interval in an exhaust path of an automobile diesel engine, and a high voltage power source for applying a high voltage to the pair of electrodes whereby an electric field is generated in a space between the pair of electrodes so as to collect diesel particulates. Since the diesel particulates emitted from a diesel engine are charged heavily in negative, and since the exhaust gas purifying apparatus forms an electric field between the pair of electrodes, the diesel particulates are collected on one of the pair of electrodes.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 1992Date of Patent: November 23, 1993Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Nagao KogyoInventors: Shigeo Watanabe, Katsuharu Kinoshita, Niichi Hayashi, Hisashi Matsunaga

Patent number: 5167813Abstract: Disclosed are a process for laminating a functionally gradient material and a laminating apparatus for the same. The process therefor includes a suspending step and a functionally gradient material laminating step. In the functionally gradient material laminating step, solid-liquid separation is carried out to a suspension while varying the mixing rates of the suspension particles contained therein continuously or in a multi-staged stepwise manner. Therefore, the functionally gradient material layer thus laminated offers a composition gradient varying continuously or in a multi-staged stepwise manner in the thicknesswise direction thereof in a superior continuity, and the composition fluctuates less in the planewise direction thereof. In addition, the process and the laminating apparatus have obviated the atomizing and the spraying which adversely affect a working environment.Type: GrantFiled: July 27, 1990Date of Patent: December 1, 1992Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Nagao KogyoInventors: Masashi Iwata, Won-Deok Yi, Niichi Hayashi, Shigeo Watanabe, Norio Ota

Patent number: 4901214Abstract: A self-excited inverter circuit primarily includes a main transformer two switching elements e.g. the first and second (FET) switching elements, wherein capacitors at both ends of said first FET are charged during a time T.sub.1 -T.sub.2 when said first FET is turned off, and the voltage V.sub.g1 across said first FET is clamped by a charge voltage V.sub.c1 and then, a voltage V.sub.gs is applied across the gate and the source of said second FET for electrical continuity to cause the voltage to be clamped. The clamped state is maintained from T.sub.1 to T.sub.2, the saturation reactor is saturated at time T.sub.3, and V.sub.gs, which has been negative, starts to change toward O, thereby causing the first FET to change to ON; V.sub.q falls towards VPi at TP3 and further towards zero point. Thus, the voltage V.sub.q2 changes to zero to cause V.sub.gs of the second FET to become zero and the second FET to be shut off. When said voltage V.sub.q2 is clamped to a fixed value, a high -V.sub.Type: GrantFiled: November 18, 1988Date of Patent: February 13, 1990Assignee: Yutaka Electric Mfg.
