  • Publication number: 20130065745
Abstract: There is provided a method for providing glass information and a glass material capable of preventing a generation of a gap between an evaluation regarding chemical durability of the glass material and an actual surface state, which is the method for providing glass information for providing information regarding the chemical durability of the glass material, wherein a correlation between a variation of hydrogen ion concentration indexes of a process liquid in which the glass material is immersed, and a variation of chemical durability index values of a prescribed types of glass materials, is tabulated in a visible form, and is provided individually for each type of the glass materials.

  • Publication number: 20130059069
Abstract: There is provided a method for testing a glass material and a method for evaluating a glass material capable of preventing a generation of a gap between an evaluation result and an actual degradation state of the surface of a lens, and also to provide a method for producing an optical element capable of sufficiently exhibiting chemical durability possessed by the optical element, which is the method for testing a glass material, to perform a test regarding a chemical durability of a glass material, comprising examining a correlation between a variation of hydrogen ion concentration indexes of a process liquid in which the glass material is immersed, and a variation of chemical durability index values of a prescribed type of the glass material.

  • Publication number: 20120018633
Abstract: Disclosed is a radiation image detecting cassette, which makes it possible to continuously conduct operations for detecting appropriate radiation images without making the glass substrate fall into the breakage failure. The cassette includes: a detecting section to detects radiation being incident thereon; a glass base plate onto which the detecting section is installed; a substrate to support the glass base plate; a housing that incorporates the detecting section, the glass base plate and the substrate, therein; and a buffer member that is installed between an end portion of the substrate and an inner wall of the housing. A side wall is formed at the end portion of the substrate, and the glass base plate is supported by the substrate in such a state that the glass base plate is adhered onto the substrate. A gap is provided between an end portion of the glass base plate and the side wall.

  • Publication number: 20110024633
Abstract: Disclosed is a cassette type radiation image detector, serving as an FPD that makes it possible to achieve the digitalization of image data. The detector includes: a detection unit to detect incident radiation to generate radiation image data and a housing that includes a main section formed in shape of a rectangular hollow cylinder at both ends of which opening sections are provided, and a first covering member and a second covering member, each of which is engaged with the main section by using an engaging member, to cover each of the opening sections, and that accommodates the detection unit therein. The main section is formed in such a manner that a first direction of carbon fibers included in a radiation incident surface and a second direction of carbon fibers included in an opposite surface are inclined relative to the opening sections, respectively, and are different from each other.
