  • Publication number: 20200317443
Abstract: A bag-closing device is disclosed which is capable of using general-purpose bags and which keeps the loss of capacity to the necessary minimum, and a shredder is provided which, even when shredded pieces of trash are stored in a bag, does not cause scattering of the shredded pieces of trash when closing the bag. The bag-closing device comprises one pair of horizontally facing winding shafts having tip parts for detachably holding a bag, which is open so as to allow objects to be put inside, at two facing opening edge parts from the outside of the bag, whereby the entire opening edge of the bag containing objects put therein is formed into a single horizontal roll-like shape by driving the one pair of winding shafts to rotate.

  • Patent number: 10286402
Abstract: A shredder includes a strip-cut shredding portion including paired disc-shaped multi-plate rotary cutters to be engaged with each other to shred paper in a strip-cut direction, and a cross-cut shredding portion including a fixed cutter and a spiral rotary cutter for further shredding strip-cut waste pieces discharged from the strip-cut shredding portion in a cross-cut direction, the shredder including an intermediate holding portion, between the strip-cut shredding portion and the cross-cut shredding portion, for feeding the strip-cut waste pieces to the cross-cut shredding portion while holding the strip-cut waste pieces. The intermediate holding portion includes paired rollers which have outer peripheral faces capable of coming into close contact with each other to pinch the strip-cut waste pieces, and which rotate in feed directions.

  • Publication number: 20170100721
Abstract: A shredder includes a strip-cut shredding portion including paired disc-shaped, multi-plate rotary cutters meshing with each other to shred paper in a strip-cut direction, and a cross-cut shredding portion including a fixed cutter and a spiral rotary cutter for further shredding strip-cut waste pieces discharged from the strip-cut shredding portion in a cross-cut direction, the shredder including a unit for detecting that the spiral rotary cutter of the cross-cut shredding portion is not rotating. Shredding by the strip-cut shredding portion is stopped when the sensor unit detects that the spiral rotary cutter is not rotating.

  • Patent number: 5144683
Abstract: The present invention relates to a character recognition equipment which is capable of recognizing with high accuracy those characters that have poor contrast and produce variation in printing density such as characters printed on industrial products. The character recognition equipment according to the present invention is composed of an input unit group which processes in image in a plurality of window regions that are set on a character image, a feature unit group which performs calculation on values obtained by adding thresholds to the output values therefrom, and an output unit group which performs calculation on values obtained by multiplying output values from the feature unit group and adding the thresholds to the sum total thereof. Here, the thresholds and the weights can be adjusted automatically with an actual object image.
