  • Patent number: 6766394
Abstract: A battery pack is detachably provided for a drive main body. When carrying, an interface card and a connector cable are detachably supported and fixed to the drive main body by a holder member, thereby packaging. A power source is supplied from an upper apparatus to a control IC circuit unit of a device via the interface card. Only when both of the power supply from the upper apparatus and the power supply from an external power source unit are detected, the power source from the external power source unit is supplied to a device circuit unit, thereby making the device circuit unit operative.

  • Patent number: 6567360
Abstract: A case construction of a memory apparatus using a portable recording medium is improved so as to render the memory apparatus compact in size and to improve an assembling property. The memory apparatus using the portable recording medium comprises an upper outer case, a lower outer case, a drive device for driving the recording medium, an inner bottom case fitted onto the lower outer case, a top cover for covering the upper part of the inner bottom case, a power source unit disposed in the inner bottom case, and a holder for fitting the drive device to the inner bottom case. A separator interposed as a safety component between the power source unit and the drive device is defined by extending upward the wall surface of the holder on the side of the power source unit.

  • Patent number: 4751735
Abstract: A stereo demodulation device includes an audio signal processing circuit, a muting circuit, a muting switch, and a variable resistor. At least a given signal processing function of the audio signal processing circuit is adjusted by supplying a control current from a control terminal thereof. The muting circuit outputs or blocks an audio signal processed by the audio signal processing circuit. A muting switch is commonly connected to a control terminal of the muting circuit and the control terminal for the given signal processing function of the audio signal processing circuit.
