  • Patent number: 10314268
Abstract: Provided is a method for cultivating low potassium leafy vegetables at high yield without causing growth failure due to potassium deficiency in hydroponics. Cultivation is performed using a hydroponic solution containing a very small amount of potassium in the late cultivation period of low potassium leafy vegetables, thereby keeping the potassium content low at the time of harvest and also allowing the leafy vegetables to be stably harvested at high yield without causing potassium deficiency.

  • Patent number: 9463545
Abstract: Reference phase variation values ?k1 to ?Kn, each of which is a variation among a plurality of phases that occur during non-machining and phase variation values ?1 to ?n, each of which is a variation among a plurality of phases that occur during machining are detected from measured vibration with the use of a chattering detector that is used to calculate phases of a desired number (n) of frequencies. If ?Ki??i is smaller than a determination value TK, it is determined that chattering having a frequency i is occurring.

  • Publication number: 20150328698
Abstract: A rotary tool holder is provided which enables effective suppression of possible chattering vibration when a workpiece is machined using a rotary tool. A tool holder that is a rotary tool holder includes a main body that rotates while holding a rotary tool, an additional mass supported by the main body with a radial gap, a fluid path provided in the main body, and a viscoelastic damper configured by a fluid fed to the radial gap between the main body and the additional mass via the fluid path.

  • Publication number: 20150223417
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to stably yield a leafy vegetable having a low potassium content even when large scale hydroponics is practiced. The cultivation is carried out by strictly controlling the concentrations of the hydroponic solutions based on the EC value throughout the entire cultivation period as well as by changing the N:P ratio between the potassium containing hydroponic solution used in the first part of the cultivation period and the subsequently used potassium-free hydroponic solution. As a result, leafy vegetables having a potassium content of about ¼ of that of the typical hydroponics leafy vegetables can be yielded with a stable quality even in large scale hydroponics.

  • Patent number: 9020629
Abstract: Loads that act on all the bearings that support a main spindle are derived from a variation in the state of the main spindle and, in addition, raceway surface contact pressures of the respective bearings are analyzed, so it is possible to accurately keep track of the state of each bearing. Then, when the raceway surface contact pressure exceeds a corresponding threshold, a machining condition is changed to execute control such that the raceway surface contact pressure does not exceed the corresponding threshold, and, furthermore, when the raceway surface contact pressure exceeds the corresponding threshold even when the machining condition is changed, the main spindle is controlled to stop, so it is possible to prevent a seizure of each bearing. Thus, it is possible to improve machining accuracy by controlling the main spindle with high accuracy.
