  • Patent number: 7583317
Abstract: A display cabinet having a monitor is attached to a main cabinet serving as a handle portion so as to be overlapped with the main cabinet. The main cabinet and the display cabinet are pivotal within a plane generally perpendicular to the optical axis of a lens with one end of the main cabinet being connected to one end of the display cabinet. A soft lock device is provided between the main cabinet and the display cabinet for holding the display cabinet at a pivot position with respect to the main cabinet. The display cabinet has a pivot center axis which is aligned with the optical axis of the lens, and an image pickup device is located behind the lens. An operation button is provided on the main cabinet within the reach of a finger of a hand holding the main cabinet.

  • Patent number: 7479992
Abstract: An image recording apparatus includes an image sensor. Image data of an object imaged by the image sensor is recorded on a recording medium to which an FAT system is adopted. A recording area of the recording medium is divided into a plurality of clusters, and available clusters can be dispersedly distributed. When formatting the recording medium, a CPU increases a cluster size as a capacity of the recording medium is larger, or the recordable number of frames of the recording medium is greater.

  • Patent number: 7369683
Abstract: In an imaging device of the present invention, an imaging element 2 is driven in a thinning read-out mode for reading out signal charges from a subset of pixels, or in an all-pixels read-out mode for reading out signal charges from all pixels. When the imaging element 2 is driven in the thinning read-out mode, the imaging device processes and records a series of first image data that is obtained by reading out signal charges from the subset of pixels and that constitutes the moving images. When the imaging element 2 is driven in the all-pixels read-out mode, the imaging device processes and records a series of second image data constituting moving images after the number of pixels of the second image data is thinned, and processes and records a portion of the second image data as a still image without thinning when an instruction to pick up the still image is given while picking up the moving images.

  • Patent number: 7319489
Abstract: A camera includes a CPU. In a case that a continuously photographing mode is set by a mode key, the CPU, in response to a full-depression of a shutter button, performs photographing without flashing a strobe light and a strobe light-emitting photographing in this order or in a reverse order, and each of image files is recorded into a memory card, for example.

Abstract: A camera includes a CPU. In a case that a continuously photographing mode is set by a mode key, the CPU, in response to a full-depression of a shutter button, performs a strobe non light-emitting photographing and a strobe light-emitting photographing in this order or in a reverse order, and each of image files is recorded into a memory card, for example.

  • Publication number: 20030175008
Abstract: A content recording apparatus includes a light-receiving circuit, and a remote controller signal from a TV-use remote controller is received by the light-receiving circuit. When a channel selecting operation is carried out by the TV-use remote controller, reception channels of both a television receiver and a hard disk video recorder (tuner circuit) are changed. Then, in the hard disk video recorder, a TV program received at the reception channel is recorded into a hard disk.

  • Patent number: 6247012
Abstract: An information reception and delivery system receives and delivers private information produced and delivered within an internal network 100 and global information reception from an external network 200 connected to the internal network 100. A directory includes information sources (or servers) and reception information used for receiving the information. A predetermined high-level server 110 of the system manages reception and delivery performed by other servers 120 etc. provided in the internal network, through use of both a global directory table 1 holding a directory regarding the global information and a private directory table 2 holding a directory regarding the private information.

  • Patent number: 5060056
Abstract: A luminance signal/color signal separating circuit comprises a comb filter for Y/C separation. The addition output of the comb filter comprises a luminance signal component, while the subtraction output comprises a color signal component and non-correlation components of a luminance signal. The non-correlation components in the subtraction output are extracted by a trap circuit and added to the addition output of the comb filter. Accordingly, the degradation of vertical direction resolution of reproduced signal will be prevented. Also, under some circumstances, the extracted non-correlation components are previously enhanced before being added to the luminance signal. The noise reduction circuit in reproduction mode shares the above comb filter for color signal separation. When dropout occurs, the color signal in the output of the 1H delay circuit of the comb filter is inverted and separated to be used as a drop out compensation signal.

  • Patent number: 5047840
Abstract: A luminance signal/chrominance signal separating circuit comprises a 3 line logical comb filter for Y/C separation. The output of the vertical correlator of the 3 line logical comb filter comprises chrominance signal components and non-correlation components of the luminance signal, whereby the separated luminance signal components have the non-correlation components missing. The non-correlation components within the output of the vertical correlator are extracted by a trap circuit, and added to the separated luminance signal components. This prevents degradation of the oblique resolution of the reproduced luminance signal. The noise reduction circuit in the reproduction mode shares the above 3 line logical comb filter for removing the noise of the reproduced luminance signal.

  • Patent number: 4790025
Abstract: The present invention makes it possible to reduce the processing time by dividing an image, which is to be subjected to a processing, into a plurality of sections and subjecting the thus-divided images to an image processing in a limited memory space, especially, by making most effective use of the memory spaces of plural buffer memories to reduce the number of divisions of the original picture when a high-speed affine transformation is performed in the plural buffer memories.
