Patent number: 9281594Abstract: A connector comprising a first connector provided with first terminals each of which has a movable portion formed so that a dimension in its width direction is larger than a dimension in its thickness direction to be elastically deformed in a fore-and-aft direction (Y direction) of the connector, and a second connector provided with second terminals each of which has a movable portion formed so that a dimension in its thickness direction is larger than a dimension in its width direction to be elastically deformed in a width direction (X direction) of the connector. As compared with a terminal formed so as to be sufficiently elastically deformable in both of the fore-and-aft direction and the width direction of the connector, it is possible to increase a cross-sectional area of each of the movable portions, so that a permissible value of current of each of the terminals can be increased.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2013Date of Patent: March 8, 2016Assignee: IRISO ELECTRONICS CO., LTD.Inventors: Daisuke Funayama, Shigeru Mitsuzuka, Tomisaburo Yamaguchi

Patent number: 9209557Abstract: A socket terminal includes a front connection portion that comes into contact with a plug terminal, in which a recess having an inner wall is formed in a contact surface that comes into contact with the front connection portion. The front connection portion is locked on the inner wall by coming into contact with the inner wall when moving in a direction in which the plug terminal is pulled out from the socket terminal. The front connection portion also includes a contact edge that wipes impurities off the contact surface. An electrical connection between the socket terminal and the plug terminal can be maintained by locking the socket terminal on the inner wall even with an application of vibrations in directions in which the plug terminal is inserted and pulled out. Since the contact edge can remove the impurities, the electrical connection between the terminals can be stabilized.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2014Date of Patent: December 8, 2015Assignee: Iriso Electronics Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiroaki Kobayashi, Hidehiro Shindo, Shigeru Mitsuzuka

Patent number: 9178326Abstract: The movable portion of the first terminal of the first connector is formed to be larger in the width direction than in the thickness direction, so as to be elastically deformed in the front-back direction of the connector, and the movable portion of the second terminal of the second connector is formed to be larger in the thickness direction than in the width direction, so as to be elastically deformed in the width direction of the connector. Therefore, the movable portions can be formed with an increased cross-sectional area, thereby enabling the allowable current of the terminals to be increased, unlike a configuration in which the movable portion is elastically deformable to a sufficient extent both in the front-back direction and in the width direction of the connector.Type: GrantFiled: September 3, 2014Date of Patent: November 3, 2015Assignee: IRISO ELECTRONICS CO., LTD.Inventors: Daisuke Funayama, Shigeru Mitsuzuka, Tomisaburo Yamaguchi

Publication number: 20120164893Abstract: When a male side contact is inserted into a female side contact, female side contact portions in the female side contact press a plurality of male side contact portions in the male side contact, and each of the male side contact portions is displaced in a thickness direction of the male side contact while contacting the female side contact portions so that a contact area between the contacts can be sufficiently ensured. When the contacts are connected to each other, a feeling of the female side contact portions, together with each of the male side contact portions, being displaced in the thickness direction of the male side contact can be obtained. Further, the contacts engage with each other by the displacement of each of the contact portions so that movement of the male side contact in a direction opposite to its insertion direction can be regulated.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 6, 2009Publication date: June 28, 2012Applicant: IRISO ELECTRONICS CO., LTD.Inventors: Shigeru Mitsuzuka, Toru Takane

Publication number: 20090023324Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide a locking structure of a flexible board, which combines a reliable locking of and a smooth removal of the flexible board inserted to the Non-ZIF type connector, does not widen the width of the flexible board, and thereby does not increase the occupied mounting area of the connector, and furthermore does not compromise one-action insertion and removal.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 13, 2006Publication date: January 22, 2009Applicant: TAIKO DENKI CO., LTD.Inventors: Masakazu Koike, Masato Takai, Ken Minagawa, Shigeru Mitsuzuka
