  • Patent number: 9470906
Abstract: A virtual or augmented reality headset is provided having a frame, a pair of virtual or augmented reality eyepieces, and an interpupillary distance adjustment mechanism. The frame includes opposing arm members, a bridge positioned intermediate the opposing arm members, and one or more linear rails. The adjustment mechanism is coupled to the virtual or augmented reality eyepieces and operable to simultaneously move the eyepieces in adjustment directions aligned with the plurality of linear rails to adjust the interpupillary distance of the eyepieces.

  • Publication number: 20140210748
Abstract: An information processing apparatus 10a according to the present disclosure includes: a touchscreen panel 14 on which video is displayed and which accepts an operation that has been performed by a user; a detector 21 which detects the operation that has been performed by the user on the touchscreen panel 14; and a processor 20 which performs processing in response to the operation. If the user has performed the operation using a polyhedron input interface device 10b which has a plurality of sides in mutually different shapes, the detector 21 detects the shape of an area in which the input interface device 10b is in contact with the touchscreen panel to determine which side of the polyhedron has been used to perform the operation, and the processor 20 carries out processing that is associated with the side that has been used.

  • Patent number: 7416704
Abstract: This invention provides a hand held pipette which is ergonomically designed to reduce user fatigue and injury. The pipette preferably includes a nozzle extending downward at a selected angle from a point near the top of a base portion of the pipette, the base portion being grasped by the operator's hand, and may also include a hook extending from a second point near the top of the body portion which is angularly spaced from the first point, which hook extends over a portion of a user's hand to support the pipette thereon. The pipette is also designed to permits operation with the user's wrist and arm in a neutral position and minimizes local pressure points on the operator's hand.

  • Publication number: 20070263395
Abstract: The present invention is a connection light attached to an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for viewing wiring connections to the rear surface of the UPS and to nearby equipment. The connection light is operable under normal conditions as well as during a power failure. In some configurations, the connection light is extendible in three dimensions and can be pointed in any direction. The connection light may draw power directly from the UPS, or it may contain its own rechargeable battery. In some configurations, the light is detachable from the UPS.
