Abstract: A developer replenishing apparatus includes: a developer storing container for storing a developer therein; a first driving source for rotating the developer storing container to supply the developer; a developer reservoir section for receiving the developer supplied from the developer storing container; a conveying screw for replenishing the developer in the developer reservoir section onto a developing device; a second driving source for driving the conveying screw; and a stirring member for stirring the developer in the developer reservoir section, the stirring member having a first and second one-way clutches provided on a driving shaft thereof. The stirring member is driven by the first driving source through the first one-way clutch, and driven by the second driving source through the second one-way clutch.

Abstract: Distortion amounts .delta.1, .delta.2, .delta.12 of workpieces are measured. Based on these distortion amounts, those correction amounts A1, A2, A3 for correcting the workpieces which are required to eliminate the distortions after the workpieces have been combined are computed. Clamp units are moved to thereby deflect the workpieces by the correction amounts. In this state, the workpieces are combined.

Abstract: A developing agent replenishing device includes: a developing agent storing container having a spiral protrusion in an interior thereof, including a container main body for storing therein a developing agent and a movable cover for opening or closing a developing agent discharging opening provided on one end of the container main body; a container mounting section to which the storing container is mounted, wherein the developing agent stored in the storing container is discharged by rotating the storing container; a developing agent reserving section for reserving therein the developing agent discharged from the storing container; a cover engagement portion for engaging with the movable cover when the storing container is mounted to the container mounting section; and a holding and moving device for holding a part of the storing container and for moving the storing container when the storing container is mounted to the container mounting section.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus including a lower half body; an upper half body which is mounted on the lower half body and has an axis arranged in parallel to a sheet passage so that the upper half body can be pivoted around the axis; and a platen cover provided on the upper half body so as to open or close in the same direction as that of the upper half body: wherein the sum of pivot angle of the upper half body and the platen cover is smaller than 90 degrees.

Abstract: A fixing apparatus for use in an electrophotographic copying machine for fixing a toner image on the surface of a recording paper. The fixing apparatus is provided with a fixing means to fix the toner image on a recording paper, ejecting means to eject the recording paper after the fixation of the toner image and a correcting roller located along the ejecting path of the recording paper to correct a curl of the recording paper induced during the fixing process by bending the recording paper in an opposite curvature of the curl.

Abstract: The invention provides a developing apparatus in which toner is mixed with magnetic carrier particles by agitator in an agitating part so as to form two component type developer. The device for feeding toner has a rotatable feeding roller disposed above the agitating part of said developing apparatus for feeding toner thereto, the feeding roller including plural magnets therein so that magnetic carrier particles are attracted to form magnetic brush around the circumference of the feeding roller and toner is conveyed by the magnetic brush with the rotation of the feeding roller. Between the agitating part and the feeding roller, there is provided a partition having an opening positioned beneath the feeding roller so that the magnetic brush passes across the opening and the conveyed toner drops into the agitating part through the opening.

Abstract: An apparatus for use in a motorcar body assembling line for setting car body components including a floor panel, a roof panel, and side panels on a set carrier in a predetermined positional relationship in a setting station at a starting end of the assembling line. The roof panel setting device is disposed in a laterally central portion at an upper part of the setting station and is comprised of a front unit and a rear unit, each having a pair of holding frames which are longitudinally and vertically movable with respect to each other. The apparatus further comprises a dashboard setting device disposed in a longitudinally parallel relationship to the roof panel setting device. Both the roof panel and dashboard setting devices are structurally and operationally similar.

Abstract: The present invention relates to copying machine, which comprises: upper and lower bodies which are bound by a hinge on one side, and a counterbalance mechanism installed in the vicinity of the hinge which works at the time of opening and closing the upper body within a predetermined angle, and stops functioning at the time of opening the upper body when the upper body opens beyond the predetermined angle.
