  • Patent number: 9383343
Abstract: There is provided an aluminum die cast part strength evaluating method is provided for correctly evaluating strength of an actual aluminum die cast part. Strength of the actual aluminum die cast part will be correctly evaluated by conducting ultrasonic inspection of a predetermined range of a high stress region of an aluminum die cast part, which is found out through stress analysis beforehand, for an internal defect, and evaluating that the aluminum die cast part has a predetermined strength if the maximum internal defect area within the predetermined range is equal to or less than a predetermined value. Moreover, an actual aluminum die cast part with a predetermined strength will be evaluated correctly by: evaluating strength using the aluminum die cast part strength evaluating method and setting the maximum-possible internal defect area within the predetermined range of the high stress region to 0.8 mm2 or less.

  • Publication number: 20150044090
Abstract: There are provided a strength evaluation method of a die casting product capable of appropriately evaluating the strength of the die casting product, and a die casting product in which the strength is evaluated by the strength evaluation method. A breakage test is performed by a simple strength tester after casting, and then, a strength reduction ratio is estimated based on an area ratio of cold flakes in a broken surface obtained by broken surface observation. Alternatively, ultrasonic flaw detection is performed for an internal defect in a predetermined range of a high stress portion of the die casting product, calculated by stress analysis in advance, and the die casting product is evaluated to have a predetermined strength when a defect ratio obtained by dividing a total area of the internal defect in the predetermined range by a total defect detection area is less than or equal to a predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 7417929
Abstract: The objective of this invention is to provide a type of data processing device and a type of data recording/reproduction device that can restart data write processing correctly from an interruption position after data write processing on a recording medium is interrupted. When write is interrupted, prescribed information that indicates the tail of the data written before said interruption is obtained from the written data. When write is restarted, first, data read processing is started. From the read data, the tail of the write data before said interruption is determined based on said obtained information. Then, data write processing is restarted and connected to said determined tail of the write data. In write clock signal generating part (45), write clock signal CK3 locked to the phase of read clock signal CK2 is generated. Consequently, it is possible to suppress discontinuity in the connection of write in company with switching from read processing to write processing.
