  • Patent number: 5374981
Abstract: An electrostatic recording apparatus includes a developing agent carrier member provided to extend along a predetermined path. A developing agent convey unit conveys a developing agent along the surface of the developing agent carrier member. The developing agent carrier member has a step in a developing agent convey direction of its surface. A plurality of recording electrodes are aligned on an upper surface of the step of the developing agent carrier member and spaced apart from each other with gaps therebetween in a direction perpendicular to the developing agent convey direction, and project uniformly from the step. An opposite electrode is disposed to oppose the plurality of recording electrodes. A leaf spring member supports at least portions of the plurality of recording electrodes projecting from the step and can swing the projecting recording electrodes in directions to approach to and to separate from the opposite electrode.

  • Patent number: 5198839
Abstract: An electrostatic recording apparatus includes a magnet roll for conveying a developing agent along a predetermined developing agent convey path. A plurality of recording electrodes are arranged to oppose the magnet roll and along the developing agent convey path. An opposite electrode has a portion opposing the plurality of recording electrodes and is arranged with a predetermined gap from the plurality of recording electrodes. A voltage applying unit applies a recording voltage corresponding to supplied dot recording information to each of the plurality of recording electrodes to generate a transferring electric field for transferring the developing agent to the opposite electrode between the opposite electrode and the plurality of recording electrodes, thereby forming a dot recording image corresponding to the dot recording information on the opposite electrode.

  • Patent number: 5196890
Abstract: An electrostatic recording apparatus includes a developing agent carrier member arranged along a predetermined developing agent convey path. A developing agent conveying section conveys a developing agent along a surface of the developing agent carrier member. A plurality of recording electrodes are arranged on the surface of the developing agent carrier member at a predetermined pitch. An opposite electrode is arranged to oppose the plurality of recording electrodes at a predetermined gap. A voltage applying section applies a voltage corresponding to recording information to each of the plurality of recording electrodes to selectively transfer the developing agent, which is conveyed along the surface of the developing agent carrier member, to the opposite electrode. The developing agent carrier member has a step at a portion on its surface shifted to an upstream side of a developing agent convey direction from a position closest to the opposite electrode.

  • Patent number: 5091285
Abstract: A pattern-forming method using an electroconductive composition comprising at least one TCNQ complex salt selected from the group consisting of isoquinolinium-TCNQ complex salts, quinolinium-TCNQ complex salts, alkyl pyridinium-TCNQ complex salts, and morpholinium-TCNQ complex salts, a specific polymer, and a solvent are disclosed. This composition gives an electroconductive film having a superior long-term storage stability and electroconductive characteristics. When this electroconductive composition is coated on a resist to form an electroconductive film, and a pattern is formed by an irradiation with charging beams, such as electron beams, an accumulation of charges (charge-up) is prevented and a fine resist pattern in which a misregistration is completely prevented is obtained.

  • Patent number: 5009811
Abstract: A conducting varnish composition consisting essentially of:(a) a tetracyanoquinodimethane complex salt;(b) a high molecular weight compound;(c)(i) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of acetals, orthoformic acid esters, orthoacetic acid esters, orthocarbonic acid esters, siloxanes, silyl ethers and orthosilicic acid esters; and/or(ii) a surfactant or a silicone oil; and(d) a solvent.the TCNQ complex salt is stable in a solution of the composition according to the present invention and the composition can be stored for a long period of time. Therefore, it provides a conducting material which exhibits a constant conductivity. Also, the composition of the present invention is excellent in the film-formability and moldability, and can be formed into a film or an article of good quality, that is, having no incomplete part.

  • Patent number: 4704681
Abstract: An electrocardiogram signal processing apparatus includes an analog-to-digital converter, and first, second and third processors. The analog-to-digital converter converts the input electrocardiogram signal into a digital signal. The first processor processes the digital signal by secondary differentiation to produce a secondary differentiated signal. The second processor detects the onset of the QRS complex in accordance with an input signal from the first processor, and the third processor recognizes a delta wave which is peculiar to an electrocardiogram of the Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome in accordance with the digital signal, the secondary differentiated signal and the onset location of the QRS complex.

  • Patent number: 4596186
Abstract: Mechanism for correcting the twist of a plate on a printer without removing the plate from a plate cylinder is proposed. A bracket having claws for holding one end of the plate is supported on a block with pins on the block received in oblique grooves formed in the bracket. When the block moves axially, the bracket will be skewed because it is prevented from moving axially. Accordingly the plate is skewed in such a direction as to eliminate any twist.
