  • Patent number: 5313923
Abstract: A pump control apparatus is disclosed which is of a small size, quietly operates and has a small number of signal output lines without loosing the fuel pump stopping function upon engine stall. This control apparatus of the invention includes a computer 5 which provides a signal output line 9 with an off-signal that is equal to the potential of a body 7 of a vehicle upon engine stop, and which provides the signal output line 9 with a drive signal that is higher in potential than the off-signal upon engine operation. This control apparatus further includes an FET 12 which is connected in series with a power supply line 8 and a fuel pump 4 and which, when receiving the drive signal, changes the terminal voltage of the fuel pump 4 in accordance with the input drive signal, and when receiving a voltage corresponding to the off-signal, stops the fuel pump 4.

  • Patent number: 5278864
Abstract: A spread spectrum communication device according to the present invention includes a transmitter and a receiver, and suppresses demodulation errors to a minimum value, even if there exit a plurality of narrow band disturbing signals. In the transmitter, a first PN (pseudo noise) code from a fist PN code generator and a second PN code having a delayed phase coming from a shift register are inputted to a multiplexer and switched according to an exclusive logic sum of data and a disturbing signal. The multiplexer output is modulated by a modulator so that it can be transmitted. In the receiver, a correlation output from a correlator is detected by a detector and a detection output thereof is digitalized by a voltage comparator. A correlation pulse thus obtained is applied to two AND gates. Two time window pulses are each applied to two multiplexers nd are switched by a control signal, the outputs of the multiplexers being respectively applied to these AND gates.

  • Patent number: 5218620
Abstract: In a spread spectrum communication system for communicating data by spreading spectrum thereof, using PN codes, on the transmitter side, a first modulated output portion, which is spread-spectrum-modulated, containing no data to be transmitted and a second modulated output portion, which is spread-spectrum-modulated, following the first modulated output portion and containing data to be transmitted are generated; and the second modulated output portion is transmitted with a low electric power and the first modulated output portion with a high electric power. On the receiver side, a correlation-demodulated output is generated by correlation-demodulating a received input; and from the correlation-demodulated output consisting of a first correlation-demodulated output portion corresponding to the first modulated output portion and a second correlation-demodulated output portion corresponding to the second modulated output portion the first correlation-demodulated output portion is detected.

  • Patent number: 5067904
Abstract: A contact pin aligned in an IC socket body can be made by stamping, the pin comprising a base, a connecting terminal, a first contacting piece provided at the corresponding position to said connecting terminal and having a slanted or vertical contacting face, a second contacting piece connected to said base through a spring part, and a contacting face to make a conductive contact with the other face. The second contacting face can instead be angular to make a linear contact.
