  • Publication number: 20130036907
Abstract: The present invention provides a multi-functional nonwoven fabric for filter that has excellent properties to adsorb various toxic/harmful substances such as odorous substances, VOCs, allergens, and pathogenic viruses, has antibacterial/antimold properties, and suppresses pressure loss to a minimal level, and the present invention also provides a method that can produce such a nonwoven fabric in a simple manner. Due to the simple steps of immersing the nonwoven fabric in an aqueous polypeptide solution and further treating it with a metal salt, it is possible to obtain a nonwoven fabric for filter having excellent adsorption properties in which the fiber surface of the nonwoven fabric is coated with insolubilized polypeptide that has been crosslinked with a metal. Also, a method that can produce such a filter in a simple manner was found.

  • Patent number: 7241837
Abstract: The present invention has for its object to provide a damping material which, despite a high damping capacity at and around room temperature, has a small temperature dependence of rigidity at and around room temperature and a damping material having hot-melt processability and a good balance between damping capacity and temperature dependence of rigidity at and around room temperature. This invention provides a damper material composition wherein the ratio of the storage modulus (G?) value at 0° C. to the corresponding value at 40° C. as found by the measurement of dynamic viscoelasticity in the shear mode, namely (G?0° C./G?40° C.), is not greater than 15 and the loss tangent (tan ?) value as found by said measurement is not smaller than 0.4 at 0° C. to 40° C.

  • Patent number: 4209926
Abstract: A display device of louvre arrangement wherein a display or exhibit is constituted by a group of parallel interleaved strips which are arranged in overlapping relation. The display device has a plurality of such groups. The display device has a driving mechanism having a cam arrangement, driving device, connecting members and a guide device, and cam followers each having an arm at the upper portion. The display device further comprises a frame structure releasably engaged with the connecting members of the driving mechanism, and elongated rigid elements movable together with the strips. Each elongated rigid element has an engaging member for contacting the arm of the cam follower to thereby shift the rigid elements and strips of one group in cooperation with a vertical movement of the cam followers.
