Abstract: A multiplied speed reproducing apparatus for performing reproduction at a multiplied speed by alternately reading information into a video memory for repeated reading out and track jumping. The contents of the video memory are renewed for at least one field of video information existing between two synchronizing pulses following a fixed circumferential position of the disk and then the tracks are jumped.

Abstract: A scanning method for high-speed reproduction of video data from a recording disk, whereby scanning is executed as a sequence of track jump operations, in which the data detection point of the pickup is caused to jump across tracks of the disk, alternating with intervals of play operation in which data are read from the disk. During each interval of play operation, data obtained from the disk are written into a memory, and thereafter are repetitively read out from the memory to produce an output video signal, until being updated during the next play interval. A display image that is free from noise and disorder is thereby obtained during scanning operation.

Abstract: Information playback system for playing back information recorded on a record disk on which a plurality of recording track portions are juxtaposed in a radial direction, includes a detector for detecting information of a relative position of an information reading point on the radial direction of the record disk. During an address search operation, the information reading point is moved across the recording track portions at a speed calculated on the basis of the relative position of the information reading point.

Abstract: This bill device is constituted of a relatively elongated casing. A bill insertion slit is formed substantially in the center of this casing in its longitudinal direction. A first U-shaped bill conveying passage communicating with the bill insertion slit is provided in one half of the casing and a second U-shaped bill conveying passage communicating with this first U-shaped bill conveying passage is provided in another half of the casing. A bill discrimination section is disposed in the former half of the first U-shaped bill conveying passage and a bill accumulating device is disposed in the latter half of the second bill conveying passage such that a plurality of bills after discrimination are retained in the two U-shaped bill conveying passages.

Abstract: A system for playing back information recorded on a recording medium on which a lead-in code and a lead-out code are respectively recorded at the beginning and the end of a program area, comprises a first control means for rapidly moving a pickup device at least across the area of the lead-in code of the recording medium, a second control means for moving back the pickup means when the lead-out code is detected during the movement of the pickup device by the first control means, and means for discriminating the type of recording when the pickup device reaches the program area during the operation of the first and second control means. By this provision, a queuing time before the playback of the recorded program is shortened without a fear of omitting the program area.
