  • Patent number: 10228115
Abstract: A movable lighting apparatus for raising natural lawn grass includes a frame, main support legs supporting the frame, and casters attached to the lower ends of the main support legs. A movable beam is provided such that it can be advanced and retracted relative to the frame in a left-right direction. A stationary beam is fixed to the frame. A sub-support leg is provided at an advancement direction forward end portion of the movable beam so as to support a distal end of the movable beam when the movable beam is advanced. A caster is attached to the lower end of the sub-support leg. LED lamps are attached to the movable beam and the stationary beam. When the movable beam is retracted, the lower end of the caster of the sub-support leg is moved to a position above the lower ends of the casters of the main support legs.

  • Patent number: 7028880
Abstract: In a friction agitation joining method, two plate-shaped joining members different in thickness, or first and second joining members, are abutted against each other with a level difference formed at upper surface sides thereof. A rotating probe of a joining tool is inserted into the butted portion of the first and second joining members from upper surface sides thereof. Joining-direction front sides of the first and second joining members with respect to the probe inserted position are pressed by first and second front pressing rollers, respectively, from the upper surface sides thereof. Furthermore, joining-direction lower sides of the first and the second joining members with respect to a probe inserted position from the upper surface sides are pressed by first and second lower pressing rollers, respectively, from the upper surface sides thereof. In this state, the butted portion is joined by the friction agitation joining method.

  • Publication number: 20040134971
Abstract: In the friction agitation joining method according to the present invention, two plate-shaped joining members different in thickness, or a first joining member (1) and a second joining member (2), are butted against each other with a level difference formed at upper surface sides thereof. A rotating probe (42) of the joining tool (40) is inserted into the butted portion (3) of said first and second joining members (1,2) from the upper surface sides thereof. Joining-direction front sides of the first joining member (1) and the second joining member (2) with respect to the probe inserted position is pressed by a first front pressing roller (11) and a second front pressing roller (11), respectively, from the upper surface sides thereof.

  • Publication number: 20040074949
Abstract: A friction stir welding method conducts contact welding on two welding target members having different high temperature deformation resistances by using a welding tool having a rotatable welding head, contacting the two welding target members having different high temperature deformation resistances against each other so as to generate a difference in height between the two welding target members on a surface side in a thickness direction, arranging the rotating head in a state in which the head is embedded into a contact section of the two welding target members or a neighborhood of the contact section from the surface side, and relatively moving the welding head to the two welding target members along the contact section in this state, is provided.

  • Patent number: 6686052
Abstract: A cooling plate provided with a cooling medium passage therein is formed by integrally joining a plurality of metal plates each having a cooling medium passage forming groove on a joining surface thereof. An anodic oxide film is formed on at least the cooling medium passage forming groove on the joining surface, and the plurality of metal plates are integrally joined each other by a friction agitation joining method. This enhances corrosion resistance of the cooling medium passage, resulting in an improved durability and extended life, which enables uniform cooling performance.

  • Publication number: 20040013805
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of processing an article to be processed so as to cause the article to create rainbow color and a method of manufacturing an article made of aluminum or its alloy which presents rainbow-colored reflective luster. An aluminum plate is prepared as a substrate (2) of an article (1) to be processed. A nickel-phosphorus alloy deposit (3) is formed on the surface of this aluminum substrate (2) by an electroless plating method. Subsequently, this article is heat-treated at the temperature of 150 to 600° C. for 5 seconds to 1 hour in an air atmosphere. Subsequently, pulsed laser light (10) is irradiated onto the surface of the deposit (3). Be performing the aforementioned steps, diffraction gratings (5) which present beautiful rainbow-colored reflective luster can be assuredly formed in the surface of article (1). Furthermore, the processing speed can be further increased.

  • Patent number: 6585147
Abstract: In a friction agitation joining method for joining two plate-shaped joining members butted against each other with a level difference formed at upper surface sides thereof by a joining tool having a probe rotatable about a rotation axis thereof, the butted joining members are arranged so as to be inclined to a horizontal plane with one of the joining members having a higher upper surface level positioned at a lower side and the other at a higher side. Then, the rotating probe is inserted into a butted portion of the joining members or the vicinity thereof in a state that the rotation axis is parallel to a vertical plane extending along the butted portion. Then, the probe is moved relative to the joining members along the butted portion with the probe inserted into the butted portion or the vicinity thereof.
