    Abstract: A seat with a massage mechanism includes recessed sections at flanges on opposite sides of a base frame. Screw-nut mechanisms are arranged along the opposite sides, in which brackets are fixed to nuts and a rod is held by links supported by the brackets. The rod includes push rollers. The rod moves vertically along guide sections and is retracted in the recessed sections. In the recessed sections, the rod and the push rollers do not receive the weight of a sitter.
