Abstract: An active matrix substrate of a display device of the present invention includes a glass substrate (30), a plurality of connection terminals (41) formed on the surface of the glass substrate and arranged in parallel with one another at an equal interval, and an interlayer insulating film (38) covering the plurality of connection terminals. The edge of the interlayer insulating film is so formed that tips of the plurality of connection terminals are exposed. A plurality of openings (58) are formed along the edge of the interlayer insulating film between two adjacent connection terminals. Each opening extends from a region between two adjacent connection terminals towards and over one of the two adjacent connection terminals.

Abstract: A photomask of the present invention is a photomask for use in production of a display device, the photomask having on its surface a plurality of drawn areas and a transitional portion between two adjacent ones of the drawn areas. A pattern is formed on at least one of the drawn areas. A ratio between a pattern pitch and a transitional portion pitch is an integral ratio such that a length defined by a least common multiple of the pattern pitch and the transitional portion pitch is 1 mm or less.

Abstract: One way clutches are taught that preferably include a rotor having an outer surface, an outer sleeve having an inner surface and journaled on the rotor in spaced relationship. A tapered roller receiving space may be defined between the outer surface of the rotor and the inner surface of the outer sleeve, and a roller may be disposed within the roller receiving space. The inner surface of the outer sleeve and the outer surface of the rotor may be preferably shaped in such a way that a tapered angle defined between a first tangent line passing through a contact point of the roller and the rotor outer surface and a second tangent line passing through a contact point of the roller and the inner surface of the outer sleeve remains constant or substantially constant even if an engagement position of the roller within the roller receiving space is varied from an ideal position when the roller engages the tapered roller receiving space.
