    Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a plurality of channel layers vertically separated from one another. The semiconductor device also includes an active gate structure comprising a lower portion and an upper portion. The lower portion wraps around each of the plurality of channel layers. The semiconductor device further includes a gate spacer extending along a sidewall of the upper portion of the active gate structure. The gate spacer has a bottom surface. Moreover, a dummy gate dielectric layer is disposed between the gate spacer and a topmost channel layer of plurality of channel layers. The dummy gate dielectric layer is in contact with a top surface of the topmost channel layer, the bottom surface of the gate spacer, and the sidewall of the gate structure.

    Abstract: A COF package includes a substrate and a chip, composite bumps on the chip are bonded to leads on the substrate. Each of the composite bumps includes a raising strip, a UBM layer and a bonding layer. A bonding rib is formed on the bonding layer because of the raising strip and the UBM layer, and the bonding rib on each of the composite bumps can be inserted into each of the leads and surface-contact with each of the leads to increase weld length and bonding strength between the bonding layer and the leads and further reduce a force required for bonding the chip to the substrate in a flip-chip bonding process.

    Abstract: The present invention is related to a tracking system, comprising at least one driver and a master control device having a camera module. The driver and the master control device are each allowed to detect spatial change of body, so as to generate a first/second spatial motion data, respectively. A relative spatial motion data between the master control device and the driver is calculated according to the first/second spatial motion data. The spatial location of the master control device is adjusted or the rotation angle/focal length of the lens of the camera module is adjusted according to the relative spatial motion data, so that the master control device is capable of approaching the driver and the camera module is allowed to focus on the driver. Thus, the master control device of the present invention is allowed to track the driver for monitoring without the need for manual operation.

    Abstract: An apparatus for photo-electric automatic feedback compensation control is used with a charged coupled device (CCD) scanner to efficiently bring the CCD scanner into optimal operating range by controlling the output intensity of a light source based upon output readings from the CCD. A voltage controlled power supply drives a light source to emit light through an optical system to irradiate a CCD scanner. The voltage induced in the CCD scanner is output and manipulated to produce a digital control signal. When the photo-electric conversion rate of the CCD is too high, the light emitting intensity of the light source is reduced based upon the output of the CCD. When the photo-electric conversion rate of the CCD is too low, the output intensity of the light source is increased based upon the output signal of the CCD scanner.

    Abstract: A compact, high-speed, high resolution, low-cost color filter driver for use in a color optical reader. The image of a document is reflected through a cylindrical color filter assembly rotated by a motor, causing a charge coupled device to be exposed to the light three times (red, blue, green) as the motor was rotated through a half run, and the document scanning portion moves ahead for one step. The color image of the document is reproduced by repeating the aforesaid procedure again and again through the operation of the single color charge coupled device and the cylindrical color filter assembly.
